View attachment 1212424 Well, we have a problem, Its a dude! What is the point of a feminized seed if there is still a good chance that it will turn out male? Of the 8 regular seeds that I have sprouted recently I have had only 1 male, Of the 2 "feminized" seeds, 1 male. that is some real bullshit.
I said in a previous post that it wasn't fair to change plants late in the contest, so I guess I'm out. that sucks I was having fun with this. But, if everyone will let me switch out my entry, it would be awesome. I will leave it up to Kulong, since this is his contest.
Whoa! That sucks, but all may not be completely lost.
There's an outside chance (still a chance none the less) that it's gone hernie on you(?).
"
Never say die", and all, I'd chop the top and hope it comes in flower.
I've noticed that generally, the male
balls would come in lower on older growth. Hermies sometimes get balls on newer growth. Thus showing first higher up. (could that of been the after transplant growth point?)
Now as mentioned, the way these willbe judged has not been mentioned. Maybe one of the factors is how one overcomes adversities or plays a hand.
Maybe IF it is a hermie, and you grab some seeds from her, you'd gather some points towards the final outcome?
I'd like to see you continue to grow it. I'd like to see you continue to make something of it if you could.
Food for thought; I was going to give up on the Ugly Betty a while ago and almost went with experimenting with LSTing into a Christmas looking tree since most of this willbe finished around that time. May not be a winner,, but if pulled off it may not be a looser?
After all, this is just for fun. Have some with it.
At least you'd still be
in the game. -LOL
If all the others die, ends up being male, goes hermie, gets bugs, etc. You could become the leader with a fine looking male as top dog. (Honestly hope not, but could happen you know.)
Personnally, I'd continue in a secluded spot and go for the seeds. These are expensive, can't be cloned well. Free seeds at this point doesn't sound all that terrible to me at this point.
