From what I read it said stress during the 3rd or 4th weeks of veg growth, before preflowers, there should be no stress... to reduce the chance of males from Fem.seed.

Mine is no Fem.seed, it was from an awesome bag of Purple.Kush only one seed in 2 oz? No other trace of shells or anything? Very wierd cuz I've seen seed in weed and it is not good to smoke(personally)...IMO seems the potency drops dramatically with seed in the weed! lol.

This is not a study. Do you know what a study is? This is some dude who thinks you can turn female seeds into males. Isn't it just a bit odd that stoners think that not treating your plant optimally will turn it into the type of plant that doesn't produce marijuana? Just a bit strange. Why in God's green earth would less than optimal conditions in nature turns a plant male and not the other way around? Just another stoner myth. Feminized seeds are usually treated with colloidal silver and it sometimes fails, or it doesn't work as well and it produces asexuals.

Dr. "Strawdog" has no idea what he's talking about. Stress in the 3rd or 4th week can produce males? WTF? Did this guy actually do an experiment and stress out different plants at different weeks? How the hell did he come up with 3rd or 4th week? Or maybe he had to hide his plants the 3rd week cause the cops showed up and low and behold they turned out male. Therefore, stress in the 3rd week causes males. What a joke.

I broke a seedling between the pre-leafs (round ones) and the first true leaves with new shoot. There was about a 3 inch stretch between them so i was left with something like you just a little taller and the pre-leafs were still ok. I let it go to see what would happen and it started a new shoot from in beside the round pre-leafs! I didnt grow it out, but it deffinitly would have! Although yours looks too young and with the pre-leafs dead i cant see where any new growth could come from?

If anyone gets males from stress it should be me...lol . I stressed all my plants and not a male yet...so we will see, this one was over-stressed!!!

No pre-flowers yet so this leads me to believe that time is different to a plant...it is old( should have pre-flowered)....more like maturity level than time to a plant?

Sorry bout that lime, I should have read through your post and would have seen the thing was already growing! I read up untill all the bs about stressing young plants into males, then just replyed from there with my expierience, but you seem to have it going well now!
Just to add, ive grew a few seeds that came from nice bud with no-other seed through it, and they have all been fe-male! I might just be lucky but when i find a rougue seed i thank the plant and keep it safe! Good luck with it dude!
