I was looking into purchasing their long style 6" carbon scrubber and was curious if anyone has used one. How well do they work and if I keep humidity low how long will one usually last? Thanks so much

I just recently got the shorter wider 8'' fan/carbon filter combo from HTG, and it works extremely well. Have trouble smelling my flowering Querkle's even in the flowering room.(exaggerating) Before I got the filter I could smell it in my backyard very easily, the grow is in the shed. But now I can't smell it! Hope this helps.

I use there 4"x20" phat filter. It helps quite a bit with the smell, but doesn't get rid of it completely. From what I understand the ActiveAir filters are better. I have also been using the phat filter for about 6 months now, and it is still holding strong. Like I said though they don't get rid of all the smell. So even if a little bit of smell is too much you may want to spend quite a bit more on a better one like active air or even a can filter.

Sounds like the HTG will get the job done for me as I need smell just knocked down a great amount. I am going to have 20 Stinky strain plants flowering in a 76"x76"76" tent so I just need smell knocked down a great amount. A little small doesn't make much of a difference. I plan to upgrade to a major brand in the future but figured the HTG would get me by till then

Thanks for the input everyone!
