Why would it matter what generation of clone it is? I started with a number of bag seeds. I took clones, then flowered. I destroyed all males and their clones. I finished flowering the rest with significant problems. I terminated the genetic lines of all the plants that hermied. Out of 5 plants, I ended up with one genetic line that didnt herm and actually seemed to do great in flower (currently curing this ones mother - so I havent smoked it. Looks and smells beautiful though). I've been taking clones from the plants a couple weeks before I move them into flowering so I have the next generation ready to go. I am happy with my "E" plants (aside from these obvious problems). I plan to keep that bottom one as a mother and grow it large. Then flower it after a few months when it gets humongous, and replace it with a clone and grow another mother.
Will i run into any problems by cloning clones? I was under the impression that its a perfect clone and could theoretically be carried out for an infinite number of generations. I always take the clones from healthy plants in veg.
The 2nd plant is a new strain. It was a seed from the best batch I have ever purchased.
I have some pro bloom from botanicare that is 1-4-5 for flowering, but I was afraid they were getting burned by the soil so i've been using plain tap water. I also have some schultz 10-15-10 all purpose plant food that I was using for veg and they loved it. I'm afraid there might be residual 10-15-10 fert that is now burning them in flower now too.
So should I start feeding with the 1-4-5 and see if that helps? Should I repot them into better soil? Or will that be too much stress this late into flowering? I would really hate to fuck these up and have to waste 3 weeks of flowering time and a couple months of veg time I put into these 2 plants, but I do have their genetic lines preserved and I would also hate to get shitty quality bud. I'm not sure if I would be better off scrapping them and replacing them with new clones, or trying to ride it out. I am staying within my legal limit of 12 plants, so if I keep these alive its at the cost of not starting 2 new plants asap.
