Whose the smartest person you know?

It really does seem like a simple question, though it isn't, its personal.

The answer directly reflects on the person analyzing the equation ..

One's perspective is what dictates the reasoning behind the matter ..

Einstein is in the history books for a reason ..and obviously, its not the average joe that will accomplish what he did .. http://www.doug-long.com/einstein.htm

1-The physicist Albert Einstein did not directly participate in the invention of the atomic bomb. But as we shall see, he was instrumental in facilitating its development.
2-But bombs were not what Einstein had in mind when he published this equation. Indeed, he considered himself to be a pacifist.
3-His position would change in 1933, as the result of Adolf Hitler's ascent to power in Germany. While still promoting peace, Einstein no longer fit his previous self-description of being an "absolute pacifist". Einstein's greatest role in the invention of the atomic bomb was signing a letter to President Franklin Roosevelt urging that the bomb be built.

Honestly he WAS a GENIUS, but in my perspective, if he was capable to put together such theories, why not analyze who (obviously) and how, and why it would be used ..

If you look down on history, wars aren't created to liberate others .. regarding Iraq, people weren't liberated once Saddam Hussein was hung .. and if the mission WAS to help, why take their oil lolz ?? (small example)

Wars are created to enforce one's personal gain .. you win, you take over ...

Is it relative to knowingly create or help create a bomb, when you can't control who and why they use it.. hell no.

So in all respects, HE is/was one of the smartest people, but no offense, I wouldn't say the direction he set his determination wise.

Though regarding that matter (smarts), I watched a show a while ago ..

Story was - this guy, and his pregnant wife were driving on a icy road, there was a car , out of control heading there way ..

What the husband did really struck me, he made the car swerve right .. putting the car out of control in direct collision with his side of the car.

He died, his wife gave birth, and lived to tell the story.

To me, that sacrifice guaranteed his wife and unborn child's well being in every aspect in that situation, regarding ANY time frame ..

HE gets the title in my eye, One of the smartest people Ive heard off .. (wish I had the report ..)

edit: found it

Smartest person I know is a guy downtown Detroit. He works in Eastern Market does advanced math in his head, remembers obscure facts and history. Remembers receipt numbers, what was on the receipt, and what date it was written and he writes dozens and dozen of receipts each day and remembers them for weeks to months, simply amazing. And never graduated from high school.

Smartest person alive. Marilyn vos Savant.

Smartest person dead. Linus Pauling.

Yo pad, you forgot to tell us who yours is!
I guess the smartest person I know in real life is probably one of my high school teachers. Learned a lot from him, but haven't really spoken to him since then, so not sure if that counts...

Smartest person on the planet alive today?... I have NO IDEA, according to Wiki, it's this guy - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Ung-Yong, but some people near the top, imo, are Stephen Hawking, Sam Harris. Hard to say whose the SMARTEST person alive...

Throughout history, hands down, Isaac Newton. Motherfucker invented Calculus! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calculus, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Newton

Einstein, Darwin, Hubble, Gallelio, Sagan... I could list dozens of people who deserve to be on that list!

einstein was an INTP, INTP's don't give a shit about application, who what where, why, they only care about the progression of the idea itself.
