eh, I'm against all the "quick dry" methods and ideas. It's a waste of product. Just doesn't work my friend.
Your better off waiting and slow drying and then curing it. I mean, you've waited this long... why ruin it now?
and yes, I realize you what you said. But still.. its best to do it properly man.

Put a nug or 2 in a brown paper bag or on top of a paper bag. A couple of days and you should have some dry smoke.Hello all I'm looking to find the quickest way to dry some of my small buds I've havested from my plant the rest goes into hibernation or slow dry, and long cure. Any help is appreciated with Reps ++ of course and a very warm hug.

after trying various quick drying methods i agree with ganjaluvr.
take it from a guy that knows just dont do it it isnt worth it.
your smaller buds should be dry enough to smoke in a few days while the rest is finishing.

consensus is slow ride take it easy. I will dry a few over a few days in a sm.brn bag and the rest the old fashion way earn it.

It's not a waste of product to want some herb to smoke while you wait for the harvest to finish. OP, turn your oven to 225F and put some nugs in there for 40 minutes or so until they feel dry. The smoke will be harsh but Ive found this is the best way to "speed dry" some sample bud.

I actually just received a dehydrator that works awesome!! I was curious if you could use it and how it would be!!
I might have to try it out when my grow is ready!! anyone have any experience using them!!

go buy you a 8th or something to get you through a couple days and have some decent smoke after it drys a couple days.. like it was said before it shouldnt take too long to dry some smaller buds

If you waited so long to grow the herb you can wait until it is done drying and ready Just keep your mind off the green(i know its hard) and watch some tv or go fishing. Time will pass soon enough

The best way have found for myself is to use a regular 100w bulb..take some tin foil or white paper, cut oyur popcorn nuggets up, lay them on the foil or paper, put the bul a inch or less away, but not touching in any way, and it would be ready in about 10-20 minutes....voila, that wasnt hard eh

dude ive only had a few grows, but have grown some good fuckin weed. but i've smoked even better and exotic weed in my time as a pothead. i've tried weed "quick dried" and it didnt taste nearly as good but still got me if not just as high, very close to weed that i have cured. So as far as these people saying it "dont work" idk what that means. it dries the weed so you can smoke it and get high..what doesnt work?
Put your smallers buds on the balast (keep an eye on them) if you want to smoke them soon soon. or you can do the paper bag method like the other guy said. Theres a diy bud dryer on here an experienced grower made and he dries a pound in 3 days just by pushing warm are through the buds. Give it all a try let us know how it goes.

I'd be afraid it make my next load of socks smell better.
Only dried and semi cured one harvest but think the dehydrator would be worth trying. Maybe just like half way dry in the dehydrator then box and hang.
On the couple good plants I had I dried by hanging for a week. Final trimmed and big mason jar for a week. After that they went into small 8 oz wide mouth mason jars (really cool they hold about a quarter) and then vacuum sealed the jar. I don't smoke a shit load. A quarter will last a month easy. Now when I open one of the jars and release the seal it is smokeable, you know will burn good but still moist and sticky. Here's a pic of the jars and some good swag. Toward the end of the jar I can see the buds getting more brittle. When you first open I have to trim a bowl off the bud with scissors.
I'll do better on this one. Building a drying box and will cure better before vacuum seal. I'm just going to take the hot air from top of the closet through the dry box.
