Billboards

So i was thinking, i live in jacksonville florida and i really dont see much action for legalizing marijuana and/or medical marijuana. Maybe im not looking in the right places but i feel like if something big enough happened i would see something on the news or newspaper.

So i was thinking, if i saved up enough overtime would it be legal to buy/rent a billboard with a giant weed leaf on it and something like "legalize medical marijuana"?
I never thought about it but i drive by alot of billboards here and i most of the time read them. I thought if there were billboards like this all around Florida it might help. I feel like the census down here is that people dont even think its possible for it to happen so they never really think of marijuana legalization. What if everyday thousands of people drive by a well place billboard and some read it. It might just get the thought in their head and spread the word. At least it would be something people would think about even if they dont care.

just an idea though. Trying to get involved in a big way.

yea i wasnt sure if it had to do something like that. I feel like thats a violation of my right to free speech since im not saying do drugs. But im sure they would say something and violate my rights anyways.

Yea but i would like to see it sped up a bit. I feel if florida can get something passed the rest of the redneck southern states will start. Idk, if i win the lottery that i never buy, then ill spend the money to do something like this.

if someone is selling billboard space, i wouldn't think you would have to approve it through a city. i would think you are well within your first amendment right. i think i saw somewhere on the aclu where florida is a constitution free zone or some bs. hell i say do it and fight it if they try to make you take it down.

thats what i was thinking, you buy billboard space from a company, why would it have to go through the government. Maybe ill start saving up and try it. Im sure if they tryed to take it down a marijuana activist lawyer would help for cheaper then normal or something. That would get the message out even more if the news cast it as some big constitutional rights case. Either way the message would get out to more people then now.

sure but with that attitude we might as well live in Russia 1965. Hell if i make some extra money or save up im gonna do it. Let them shoot at me, ill shoot right back. We cant all sit around doing nothing. And we all know that trying to go through their system never works, since they control it.
