They will flower. As I understand it, you get about a quarter of the yield. Thats it drawback. I could setup veg room, but that would take extra everything and thats not in my budget unfortunately.

OK maybe later you can fit it in your budget.All you need is like 20 bucks

Hey bro, looks like everything goin good for you, can't tell if I'm understanding the question, or answer...but here a fact...a plaant WILL flower with change to 12/12...In a earlier journal I flowerd a plant 2 weeks into 18/6 lighting(it was like 4" tall, lol)
... If you start at 12/12 I will then wait to mature.........

I just ordered 3 sour og seeds by cali connection from attitudes pick n mix and got the 3 promo free fem seeds(kandy kush,blueberry gum,pineapple express) along with a free fem sour cream.So i guess i will start all the cali connection beans when they get here.It would be dead head og,tahoe og and sour og.Im hoping i get mostly females out of these because i want to try each one.I always wanted kandy kush as well that will be in the room with the rest of them.

Yeah you got it 12/12 from seed it will flower when mature no matter if its on the flowering time.

I dont know this is going to be my first grow using their genetics.
From what i hear they are good.So i will try these out and see how they are.If i like them then i will try some more of the stuff they have.

Thats another reason why i ordered i wanted to try kandy kush and pineapple express to see what is all the hype about it.Then you get blueberry gum with it.That just sounds good.

G13 makes the blueberry gum its a new strain they came out with.You right all of them dank and sweet.

I have a 150 watt HPS and a bunch of CFLs and was thinking of doing the same as you. I was thinking of throwing the autos I got as freebies in it for starters. I have a shelf at 4' above the floor in the veg room and was considering moving the stuff I have on it, lining it with mylar and setting up the autos there.

I'm just concerned about additional heat.

Thats why ill just get a small tent something like what i have for veg or ill just build a box about 4 feet high and put the t5s i have in for veg .Im just too lazy to get the bulbs for it.

Yeah, maybe I'll see about making some room on the other side of the garage for a new cab or tent. Most likely a DIY tent out of PVC and Pandafilm to keep it cheap, lol. I will be upgrading the exhaust fan for the 600 so I'll have the one I'm using now on the 400 and a small desk fan that I could use for the tent.

It'd be nice if I was able to run the 400 in there but I'm pretty sure she'd kick me out if I tried to pull that off. I put an amperage meter on the power cord for the 400 last night after the light had been on for a couple hours and it was reading 4.3amps so 516watts!!
The label on the ballast says 4.4amps (528watts) but I was hoping that was at startup or a max number. The good news is there won't be that big of an increase on the power bill when I run the 600 digital.
