Hairs turning brown, but bud/flower doesn't look fully developed????

I have a plant that I've had 12/12 from seed. Seed came from a 10 pack mix. This plant is extremely small. Most definitely an indica strain. The Calyxs are red looking. Anybody have an idea of the strain?

Anyway the hair coming out of the calyxs are already turning brown but the bud does not look fully developed. Do hairs turn brown early?? I mean the calyxs are not even covering the stem. Its wierd. Is it possible that its time for me to harvest but due to bad growing the bud didn't fully develop?? I don't even see the trichomes...

This plant sprouted I think August 16th and has been under 12/12 since. About six weeks.

Anybody have thoughts??

well pictures would probably help people figure it out...
though ill add this: last year after summer i bought a half O of some local outdoor, and it had NO crystals on it. i was lookin at it like "wtf is this schwag" and it was just in 4 long ass buds. but that shit was d.a.n.k. crystalls are in some plants, not so much others. you cant completely judge bud by the crystal.
though like i said throw some pics in

A picture would be nice, it almost sounds like a hermie.

That's what I was thinking. Did they all turn brown at the same time, or gradually? If they all turned within a few days, they've probably been pollinated, meaning that you likely have a hermie hiding somewhere.

They didn't turn brown at the same time I've been seeing more each day.

Here are some pics. The plant is small so I took some with flash and without trying to get the best look for you. Hopefully you can see what I'm seeing.

It might be because this plant is so small. who knows. I think pic 10 of 13 shows the best look

^LOL, Well, that changes the perspective a bit, doesn't it? Here I'm thinking it's a 1'+ plant, with many pistils that have turned. Hmm....I don't really know what to tell ya, or what to suggest. Typically, with a normal sized plant, alot of strains 'stall', at around week 5-6, some of the pistils turn, then it takes off again, sprouting a bunch of new pistils, along with the burst of bud growth. Maybe that's what's going on with your's, on a miniature scale?

lol thats crazy!!! you need to tell us how much you get when you dry the buds

Also it doesn't have that dank smell. I have another female in the box. Much bigger (still small, I'm consider my self a micro grower) and she is beginning to flower. I can smell her already. But the little one in the pictures seems to be farther along but no dank smell.

I did have males in the box but pulled them as soon as I saw them show male. Although after I pulled one I dried it in the box...maybe there was some pollen let loose when it dried. Hmmm I think there is a small possibility that my plant was knocked up.

^I think so, too. It looks like some of those calyxs have white showing through a small slit in the side of them?(pics 7,10, and 12) If I'm seeing that correctly, it's been pollinated. That would explain everything. :)

It's almost impossible to tell for sure, by those pics, because there aren't very many calyxs to look at.lol

i dont want to offend i just want to know your reasoning behind keeping them that small if you would?

Why on earth would you grow them at 12/12 from seed? You guaranteed that they would remain sprout size by leaving out the entire veg cycle. Just curious.

Lol, yes the plant is small. I don't have much space to grow and I thought smaller plants would have less smell. Also wanted to harvest as soon as possible. Plus I've never smoked before. So I don't need a whole bunch of bud...might not like getting high. Also these plants started out in an aero garden but growing hydro, I found out, takes some expertise and a whole lot of time. I ended up transplating to soil to save my plants. Also soil growing is a lot less work.

Anyway, here is a pic of my other confirmed female. Sprouted within a day or two of the other little plant. Much bigger strain. I bought the seeds from a seedbank as a mix. I'm wondering if the small plant was an autoflower and thats why it stayed small with 12/12.

This link was a thread I saw before I decided to grow 12/12 from seed. I guess only the pros can get huge yields from 12/12 from seed.

A quick note...I'm pretty convinced that that little plant is an autoflowering strain. I've read that 12/12 lighting severely stunts autoflowering strains. I am actually am going to 18/6. Either way the 18/6 will help the two seedlings I have in there.
