Wow Im jealous. You did a wonderful job on your greenhouse I am excited to see your first grow in it. I am hoping to start building one for myself and after reading this it has helped inspire me to take my time and make sure it is done right because I want it to turn out to be something that I can be proud of. Once again Great Job!

Only gonna do it once, may as well do it right. well, besides any slight modifications you may need to do.
Like I vegged them a bit too long and had to modify the roof!

LOL Live and learn I guess.

It took me almost an entire day, but I really enjoyed seeing your build. kudos to you.... singed a noob.

Holy shit.... don't want to step out on a limb here, but I'd hazard to say the plants like the natural sunlight... Holy grow Batman. What is that? 30lbs of medicine?

This is a crazy pic man. It actually worked out though, because it looks like the heigth lets you walk under the plants. ;) I am just so impressed with this green house I would rep you again if I could.

hey mate, i built a greenhouse pretty similar to yours with the white polycarb sides and the clear roof and used a Co2 heater. basically i vegged indoor and put them in the greenhouse during winter and im coming up to harvet and they are looking awesome. it snowed most the winter and they still bigger then 6ft tall. thanx for all the advise.

im coming up to summer and im building a 2nd greenhouse, i noticed when the sun hit the greenhouse during the day temps got to around 100F even though outside was 40F, so im thinking in the wummer heat i would need to do something to control this. the size aircon i would need i dont have enough amps to run, its much larger then yours. So do u think bubble wrap would help contorl temps? or would the plastic make it even hotter.

Sorry for the long post ill keep it down to 2 simple questions
whats the best way to control temps in my current greenhouse?
in my 2nd greeenhouse what material could u suggest to build the roof out of, which doesnt get so hot, high light transmition and stealth ?

Sorry man, I thought I answered this question, maybe you pmed me IDK
Anyway to cool without a/c it all about airflow and screens. Cover the base to shade it and keep the roots cooler too. look into sollexx panels.

Man that's hard to say but It seems like your gonna need more then that.
In order for me to make the inside as cool as the outside I had a 1650 CFM fan pumping in air from a shaded area into the bottom of the GH and passive vent up top. Now I believe it can be done with a lot less, just the placement of the fans, use two, one at the top of each end. On in and one out, blow everything right accross the top and help keep the roof cool. The larger the better.

Ha! Thanks buddy! Sorry, I missed your post.
Yea, pulling that air from the shaded part of the house works good but I couldn't have huge 16" ducting showing so the bench idea came to mind. After using the green house a couple times I changed it a bit, needed a work area. This year its a potting bench.

A few modifications for a winter grow.

I been able to keep the roof on at least.
