good, cheap hps light????

alright all, just wondered if any1 knows of any decent but cheap 600w hps lights with the ballast and reflector, ive had a look round myself and found a couple of decent ones and just wondered if any1 else could reccomend 1?

I've seen this question alot and have askied it myself....seems that the best place to buy lights is High Tech Garden Supply . There have been mixed responses about these guys, but my experience with them has always been positive, and I haven't been able to beat their prices....good luck

yea my friend just got a 400 watt hps from HTG Supply at a great price and everything went perfectly with the order. Theyre the cheapest I've seen.

but they do not offer 600w, i think i personally will just be buying there 400w system g/l on the search. sorry i couldn't help more.

400w should easily be enough for 3 plants right, wat u think?

400w would be fine for three plants. the one thing i would say is if you are going to scrimp on anything - the lights should be the last thing you try to penny-pinch on.

Definitely enough for three plants. Good luck man. Strongly consider the MH/HPS system (it's just an MH conversion bulb...); yes, it's a little more money, but you get both systems and then you never have to worry about a spare bulb.

i use this light:
1000W Sun System 7 Grow Light System | BGH

It is a dual-ballast with dual-light fixtures in the reflector so i run a 400w MH and a 600w HPS simultaneously through my whole grow.

You can check out my grow journal for pictures of the light (and my current grow with it).
