no you dont have to. for vegging i use only a base nutrient. for flowering i use three diffent nutrients. heres what i got so far.

this is how i use mine. in week 1 of flowering you use bud blood,carbo load and mother earth super tea bloom. week 2,3,4 you use big bud, carbo load and bloom, weeks 5,6,7 you use carbo load,over drive, and bloom. week 8 you flush with final phase.

i love this stuff im on my first grow and have no complants about it. and its made just for marijuana and is used in medical marijuana. google it or check youtube for advanced nutrients.
