By the way, does anyone have any thoughts on what may be turning everything purple? The calyxes and leaves are all going deep purple. I know what the yellow is from, I need to feed her haha. I'll probably do that today. I'm looking through various nutrient deficiency articles and there nothing about this kind of purple. Maybe genetics? I guess it is a blue strain, but blue isn't deep purple. I'll post a pic of what exactly I'm talking about later.

Here's the new set up. The HPS has a built in ballast and comes with a glass insert. It looks really nice and bright. it makes the CFLs look blue now! Can you guys see what I mean about the purple? And the 60DW is still kinda droopy. Healthy, but droopy. Hopefully she'll perk up. I have the blue light at an angle to allow some of the HPS light hit it. Also I want to do some LST, so I figured it would be easier if she's already tilting that way.

those look great man, if the calyxes are purple aswell i would have to guess and say genetics,
i've had a few plants with purple stems due too really cold temps but the calyxes never turn purple
i'd love to have purple calyxes haha the bag appeal is going to be 10/10, looks like you got a good phenotype of the blue mystic,
i was reading through a white widow journal not too long ago
out of the 3 he was growing one of them was purple, looked amazing, so same strains but all different phenotypes
edit: in pic #2 it looks like it has abit of blue to it aswell

Hell Napa I'm new to growing so I didn't know shit about sativa or indica marijuana seeds! I did know I wanted indica seeds because they suppose to grow small. I ordered the Sun System HPS 150w Grow Light. I might have an answer to why your Blue Mystic is growing longer than an auto BM should and still not showing amber. Nirvana has stopped selling their Auto's (they say OUT OF STOCK) because something about mislabeling of the seeds or bad batch. You might have just feminized blue mystics and not auto's. This affect not just Blue Mystic seeds, it's all of them. They are talking with the breeders now and won't sell any auto's until they get to the bottom of this. They are giving free seeds I'm told of the feminized (regular seeds )of the strain you got from them or you can choose from a selection.

I know that's right. me too!!!! My blue mystics have not started flowering yet, but I hope they start soon since it will be 3 weeks flowering this Sunday. I have mine on 18/6 lighting.

Good news people, I'm pretty certain the 60DW has started flowering. And I can see 2 distinct white pistils. Looks like another girl . Right on time at 2 weeks exactly.

She has 2 sets of pistils now. I'm going to start feeding her big bloom to try to boost flowering. This is really exciting. I'll finally be able to see the whole flowering cycle.

The 60DW also seems to have a fused set of leaves. It's 2 fused on 1 side and just 1 leaf on the other.

The BM just keeps on growing. I'm going to give her another 2 weeks, max. 1. Because the 60DW will need more of the HPS and more room. 2. Because i want to smoke her already and it's about time to be done . But I'll give her 2 more weeks. I like more of a head high anyway.

Thanks MH . The BM is getting denser, i think the 150W is really helping. The leaves look terrible though . The 60DW is looking really good, nice and deep green. I just fed with Big Bloom. One thing I do notice about the party cup is that it goes dry pretty much daily. I'm still trying to figure out how dry to let it get without negatively effecting the plant. I also need to figure out the feeding schedule. My water has gotten really basic lately too, don't know what that's about. my plain water is at like 7.1, nuted water at 6.7. I have no clue where my ph down is either. Looks like this grow is going to be another learning experience.

Ok guys here's an update. This 60DW is going to be EXTREMELY bushy. Turns out I have some sort of mutant. One leaf is actually three fused leaves! I think that node may put out an extra number of side branches. I'll have to see how this turns out. She's putting out more and more pistils, which I guess is using up a lot of nutrients because over the past 2 days I've been noticing some sort of deficiency. It's either mag. or cal., but I'm leaning heavily to calcium. Which is wonderful because none of my nutrients give calcium . So I'm thinking about ordering epsom salt. What's the formulation on that, does anyone know? Is it just like 1 tsp/gal? But overall this baby is growing wonderfully. I just need to keep it healthy .
