Weight loss itching??? (need help)

I had recently hit the peak of my weight and started this diet the requires you to go into a state of Ketosis (constant fat burning) and ever since I have been really itchy.. I'd like to think that it's like a cut (when its healing it itches) whereas my skin is healing from being stretched out... Any thoughts? Don't have any allergies that I am aware of and I haven't been exposed to anything out of the ordinary (except lack of pot these past few weeks, hmmm)...:joint::hump:

Yes when you lose weight you itch. Pick up some lotion with coco butter in it...or even better that shit pregnant chicks use for stretch marks, supposed to stop itching too. Good luck. Congrats on the loss.

i didnt know weight loss caused itching, I know issues with your liver will cause itching. It wouldnt hurt to go to a doc for a checkup you could be stressing out your liver? maybe not though.

anyway can you tell us about your weight loss technique so we can try it too?

Basically my body burns roughly 2000 calories a day (If I laid in bed [I have 100 lbs of muscle]) So this diet I am on has me drinking at least 64oz of water throughout the day, taking my omega 3's and digestive health pills, eat like a low cal kashi bar every 2-3 hours (like 600 cals a day) and then having a protein/veggie dinner (7oz (any fish but salmon) 6oz chicken / 5oz steak) every night around 500-700 cals.. So im burning 500-1500 cals each day (with activities).. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. Just cut down on those beloved sugars, starches, sodas, (even diet!) and drink more water and you'll see some loss.

as a fattie i can tell you that yes weight loss does itch. i've lost and gained quite a few pounds and any time i amp up the effort to lose weight i get very very itchy just under my skin, mainly on the big muscles like thighs and gluts. i notice it a lot more with excersise than with just dietary adjustments, but yes you are correct. it is like when a cut heals it gets itchy, cells doing that much activity are gonna cause weird sensations. it's a good thing.

I disagree. The water weight you lose from those pills will just come back anytime you drink water.. (unless you keep taking them which means your wasting money) Drinking water in itself will make you drop water weight by consuming it in excess regularly because your body wont be deprived of it.

What about it? (Did you mean: Alcohol?)
