so its ok that i start 18/6 tomorrow? even after all the different time switches i started them with?
Well if you are growing autos, they will flower when they reach a certain maturity, rather than changes in the light/dark cycle hours. so i dont think the light change will hurt them. i gave mine 24/7 light and no dark for two weeks, then switched to 18/6 and they seem to like it.

Damn, nice looking plant! I do see what you mean. Maybe I do need to transplant after all. I have some one gallon pots i could put them in, do you think that would be okay for the whole grow or should i go with 2 gallon pots?
Mine are in two and half gallon pots right now, but think I may need to transplant to a five gallon in about two weeks. General rule is one foot of plant per gallon of soil. So I think I might be cutting it close. My big plant is 26 inches and dont think it will be over three feet tall at this point. So I'd say just do a five gallon bucket to be safe.

Never heard of it but all I am using is Organic Soil, it's like $2.25 for a pretty decent sized bag, If you are having problems, you either:
gave your babies too strong of a fertilizer mix
overwatering
Autos really need low low doses of nutes.
My suggestion is if you see any changes like nutrient burn on the leaves flush all your pots with distilled or tap water that has been sitting 48 to 72 hours.
Hope this can help, do you have a ph level tester?

Sounds like your babie girls are doing fine then, mine are starting to really kick off but they are getting really wide, they aren't wanting to get very tall, thinking about moving the lights about 5 inches higher. Mine are very short and stout, very wide and stout, got about 4 to 5 internodes, im just going to use my ghetto self made SCROG to even the canopy out so hopefully my yield will be better. They like either 20/4 or 24/0 or 18/6 i've heard all three work wonders.

I woke up this morning and went into my grow room, bam...my babies have grown so much. Will be putting some new pictures up later on today, too stoned right now. I think these Northern Lights are very good for new growers (like me).

They grow like "weeds" LOL oneinthechamber's Northern Lights Feminized + Autoflowering Grow... I took a shot at using Miracle Gro's Spikes the N-P-K rating is 6-12-6 so I put a total of 8 spikes for all 4 of my little ladies. Now I just feed some distilled water and that's all. The Fert Spikes say they last 60 days and that is perfect for my grow so I said what the heck, I will give them a try, a week later I can tell the difference in overall growth and they just look happier. :-)

Tell me what you think. I'm using the wooden pieces to keep the main stem bent a little so the lower nodes can receive light as well, this well make my yield better, hopefully. I've seen people grow them literally horizontal to the ground just as it grows put another metal U to hold the main stem down, this is real good for outdoor growing if you are trying to be stealthy.

I got 3 nirvana autos in a promo through attitude earlier this year right after they released them, NL, JH and Bubblelicious. They were inside for about 10days before I transplanted into 5gl pots and put them outside in my med garden. Now earlier this year I grew 10 easy ryders that grew exactly as advertised, all were outdoors, grew to about 2-3ft tall and averaged a yield right around an ounce a piece. Now the NL and Bubba auto took 7wks to begin flowering, while the JH took just over 8wks, there all over 3ft tall and the NL is almost 4.5ft tall, mind you I did no kind of training at all, just let them grow all natural. I actually do have some recent pics that I will try to put up, but basicly they take way too long to flower for what the yield will end up being but there still fun to grow, its just gonna be almost 4months from seed to harvest which kind of defeats the purpose of the auto flower idea. Again they have all been outside in N. California from there 2nd week on so I really expected them to be smaller and ofcourse quicker but like I said still fun to grow something different, out of the three the NL does look the best and should be ready within the next 2wks, so I'll try and post some pics. Good luck to everyone, the big outdoor harvest also isnt far away, cant wait, take care, peace!

NLauto 12/12 from seed under 250 hps 3 weeks and flowering just like they said. everyday she looks so different growing like crazy! Good luck!
Nice plants! Mine look exactly like yours, just a little smaller. I think I may be a week or so behind yours. Mine are already showing signs of flowering as well, and my 2 oldest are about 3 weeks old.
