If all grows well, it's going to get crowded pretty quick. I started 10 Big Bang seeds from Kind Seeds in BC but due to user error (death by drowning)only four sprouted. Thinking that my germination success would stay under 50% I started 45 seeds from Attitude Seed Bank, 10 varieties plus the awesome freebies. After lurking here (thanks RIU), I developed a feel for sprouting and with the exception of one seed, batted a thousand. I expect to have to start pulling plants out of the tent as it gets crowded but this is an embarrassment of riches that I can deal with.
The four plants are five weeks old and the seedlings are nine days old, they have been under the LED lamp exclusively 'till this morning when I added a 400w MH light. The Lumigrow ES 250 has really made these seedlings grow some sweet leafs. In order to get some full coverage in the 4X4 tent, I had to raise it to about two feet above the canopy. My girls were looking anorexic so I added the HID lamp that I am only going to run in the morning for a couple of weeks, 'till the ambient temperature is cool enough and the seedlings can handle the additional power.
There are two turbogarden ebb and flow systems with a PH of 650 and the General Hydroponics nutes are holding steady at 750 ppm for now. I will be upping the nutes as they grow. There is a fan to move the air and an exhaust fan with carbon filter to keep it fresh.
I have had some experience as a dirt farmer but this is a 1st for me in many respects (hydro, tent grow, help from the RIU brothas and sistas) so PLEASE holla if you have any advice or comments
Thanks for lurking
