Are Canna Terra products worth the coin

Today I just invested in some Canna Terra fertilizers and a couple additives (Terra Vega, Rhizotonic, Cannazym). Im in Veg stage 4 1/2 weeks from seed. I started to get some yellowing on the bottom leaves, which I know could be 20 different things. But I decided to put my money into some good ferts. I pretty much got sold on the additives more so then the veg stuff. The Rhizotonic and the Cannazym seem like awesome products, even though they are quite spendy. They dont get cheaper either when I get to flower. The bloom additive really gets ya. I would love to hear some peoples opinions on the line of products.:joint:

ok here’s my take on canna:
(I ran their bio line, before the mysteriously pulled it from the market)
the rhizotonic, cannazym are absolutely worth every penny, these things work like butta!
their nutes are good (but since this is the organic section) they are not organic. they had an organic line, but it was full of bugs and other unknown issues. but i have seen their terra and aqua line work with other people and work well.
the boost.. man I just don't know about the boost yet. pricey. it feels like it works but feels aint facts. ultimately, the way they pulled their bio line (just stopped shipping to stores with no warning, just deleted all info of the product line of the web page, no info available) and how, now, their TP dirt line has mysteriously disappeared from the shelves too, following the way the bio line did. I don't trust them. even with good results, if i can't trust them to be around next week, or stand behind their product, well, i can't buy it.

goof products but not organic. I only used it during my first grow, and had mixed results. One strain (Bubblegum) had a case of nuteburn, while the NLX was just perfect.

The Boost (useless without their PK 13/14) is worth every penny, but all in all it's still not comparable to organics.

I used Canna Terra Vega and Flores for my second grow about 6 years ago or so. It seemed to work really well. Too bad I was using crappy bagseed genetics and a noob at the time. I was just recently thinking about giving it a shot again. Or trying coco with Canna nutes.

They certainly aren't organic. Which makes me wonder why they're being shilled in an organic forum.

I'm not sure where you're located, but the 4 Canna retail shops in my area were all still carrying the BioCanna line and BioTerraPlus soil as of today. I did hear about the fungus gnat issues with their soil, but I've also heard numerous other stories from friends using FFOF and Roots Organics that they had fungus gnats in the soil as well.

well on the east coast, the bio line, (complete ferts to dirt) have been off the shelves for about 4 months. the canna web site does shows info about all of there other lines (vega, terra, and cocco) except the bioline. secondly, there is a biocanna web site but it hasn’t been updated in months. thirdly, (and I don't use fox farms anymore) but I have never heard of gnats being in either fox farms or roots. (and I do currently run roots) fourth, the canna TP (and TP professional) dirt are not on the shelves here in the east anymore either (as of about a month ago) due to some exporting issue, which there rep says will be fixed by January. I add this to the list, even though by itself it would just be normal business issues but, with everything else = shiesty..
look I liked there product, I still say rhizo and cannazyhm are great products BUT if I can't rely on consistency in shipping how the hell can I rely on consistency of product? its too bad really. but I'm going to the real organics, not "organics in a bottle" so fuck em..

Sounds like you're going to build a living soil and ignore the supplement marketing hype. Smart move.

interesting... I definitely hear ya on the "organics in a bottle" thing, Im actually waiting for my subcool super soil mix to finish cooking so I can run it against the biocanna. I picked up the biocanna line to give vegan organic a shot - I've smoked some veganically grown nuggs and they are some of the smoothest most flavorful buds I have had the pleasure of smoking. So I figured what the hell I'll give it shot and see what happens for me.

Canna according to me:
Very interesting what Cerb said, because the nutes are still available here (CA)...but the Terra Plus media is not.

I love the BioCanna line, the organic Canna products. Can't really say enough about the results from the BioCanna products so far. They pay back and then some, especially for those who care about quality above all else. If you are a busy person with resources, who demands the absolute top quality, the Bio line will not disappoint.

Just talked to a preferred dealer of Canna products and got the real deal on what's going on with the BioCanna. The nutes are not disappearing or being pulled, they are good to go!

The Bio terra plus has an ingredient that is technically classified as "biological" and the US doesn't accept that. The reality comes down to Canna not needing money. They would rather keep their current mix "as-is" than change it to be acceptable for the US market regulations. It must be nice leading the canna-world, and not needing american money to push profits up.

i have two buddies who grow the same cut of bubba kush, both are organic growers, on uses a rich sunshine mix with a little bit of pure blend pro, cal-mag when needed, and some sweet, the other buddy uses the whole bio line along with the soil, both use hps 600s and the guy who uses sunshine and pure blend pulls more per light and plant then the bio one, also the bio buds are not as dense. this isnt the only variable tho, the bio guy dosnt train his plants to much and the pure blend guy vegs them a good while and supercrops them allot allot.

I'd like to believe that man. I have had great results with there products in the past, I would never have left the bio line if it werent for its unavailablility, (even considereing its gnat culture) BUT having said that, nobody and I mean nobody is in a "not needing money" situation. or ager to push up their profits, seriusly a cannabis company that doesnt want to make anymore money? sorry man, I can't believe that line, maybe its my capitalism mind set..

good luck, and happy growing!

.357 thats exactly what I am doing, subcools soil mix seems like a strong base to start with.

You know I made that up. I cannot fathom why Canna wouldn't change their terra plus mix, we (the US) have more growers than ever before. But the general consensus from grow stores is that it won't be back.

Are you saying that the Bio nutes are also unavailable where you live? Vega, Flores, and BioBoost?

Thanks, keep it clean. Peas and elbow grease.

... because they're a European company and their largest markets are here in Europe; not across the Atlantic.

And they're products are sold just fine over here. No reason they should augment all their products just for one market; one that is already saturated with its own home-made products (like FoxFarm, Advanced Nutrients, etc).

Not sure you know exactly what you are talking about...Canna has just one product that didn't pass our stupid regulations, the bio terra plus. So changing all of their products is kinda off-base. But it's okay.

It is a wait and see on the Bio Terra Plus here in the States. I'd have to imagine that the profit motive will eventually win. We are some reckless consumers stateside. The Bio Canna nutes are still available, my store just got a fresh shipment. Still looking for someone here to make a product comparable to the terra plus.

It's funny because here in Europe CANNA aren't exactly highly regarded. They're like the "commercial" brand of cannabis products, and grow shops usually push 'em on beginners.

I'm honestly way happier with the BioBizz line.
