clones: a little question about my little plants...

hi people!
im going to run through what i did to clone a plant,
so first i snaped off a couple of well growing twigs off my friends plant, (i think it's wite widow) i then got home and cut the stalks at a steep angle and scraped the stalk lightly, i then put these into a coke bottle with a sock on it to cut out the light, filled with just regular tap water. i now have wite roots on the stalk of the plant!!!

question number 1, how lucky am i?
question number 2, should i plant the clone with realy short roots now? or should i wate a couple of day's till the roots get a little bit bigger? (they are currently just under a centimeter long.)

your not that lucky, but its great that you got the clones rooted, congrats..
and yeah, go ahead and plant them now that you've got some small roots showing, that's plenty..

How long did it take for the roots to appear?
I've only sucessfully cloned once and that took about 2 weeks, and I used regular water and clonex gel.

ive bought clones and not check every one and ended up with a few without even root bumps put them in a coco and 24hrs light are abot 2 inches behind the rest but still growing good and i put a dome on them at times to keep it afew degrees warmer and humidity a little higher.

you did good and your friend was prally using HG or CANNA root nutes

my friend and me didn't use anything but a pair of skissors, and a small coke bottle filled with water, covered by a sock! nothing eltse

i beleve there's probably alot to do with the strain that im growing, also it could be due to the time i took the cuttings, just before flowering XD
