I just picked up this fan speed controller yesterday to control my S&P TD-150 6" inline fan, and I have to say this thing is freakin' sweet!
I am still trying to dial in the settings, but basically you set your max desired day and night temps, at which point your fan will be running 100% It throttles your fan down gradually until it turns it off when the temp drops below your max setting by 3, 5, or 7 degrees, selectable by a switch on the side.
I have it set so my cab is maintaining a steady 80 degrees, and the fan is way quieter and doing less work now. It also helps because when my lights kick on in the morning it used to draw cold air into my stuffy cab, giving the plants a little shock. Now the temp and humidity stay steady.
Anyway, I just thought I'd throw this out. Maybe it'll help someone looking for a venting solution.
