How can i force flower outdoor plants?? do i put them in a dark room for 12 hours after 12 hours of light?? help please:cry:

yeah Stick them in the dark after their 12 hours of light... a good way to do it is get one of those big black rubbish bins and put it over the top, or a sack... anything lightproof, saves moving them all the time

ive noticed it helps that before going 12/12 to let them sit in darkness for 24-36 hours then go 12/12.if your really trying to force it into flowering that is

not necessarily, If you want more yield it's better to have the plant bigger, if your not bothered it doesn't matter, but people go 12/12 from seed so it's just down to what you think is right.

I've read that doing 24-48 hours of dark before flower does wonders but theres lots of contradictory evidence to suggest otherwise, my opinion... experiment!

keep in mind that they get 1.5-3 times taller over the flowering period, which outside doesn't make the slightest bit of difference, the sky is the limit XD

Yeah sure man... I'm only on my first pot grow but I do a lot of other growing, the usual tomatoes peppers chilli's and shit (for a good few years)

All my practical knowledge on weed so far is up to 2 weeks flower and the rest is all theory stuck in my head XD give it 8 more weeks an I'll have my first grow under my belt!

ummmmmm.... at the moment I have:

1x Critical Mass (fem) - 1.5 Weeks into Flower
1x Skunk Haze (regular) - 1.5 Weeks into Flower
5x Critical Mass (fem) Clones - 2 Weeks of Veg
2x Pineapple Express (fem) - Germinating
2x Super Lemon Haze (fem) - Germinating
1x Haze AutoFlower (regular) - Germinating

lol suffice to say I'm more addicted to growing than smoking now XD

I dunno but they can't do anything about it only confiscate them and send you a letter saying we've taken these.. if that happens talk to attitude and they'll happily send some replacements...

Is it legal to grow in south africa?
if not then what does it matter if its legal to receive them lol.

In most countries its not actually illegal to own seeds, your allowed to have them as 'souvenirs' or 'fishing bait' etc (as long as you have 'no intention of germinating them') lol as if XD

just read up quickly on your countries laws and know your rights!

Well have a look around on their site I think they have a below certain price search... check to see if they actually ship to south africa I know they have some restrictions on where they post to.

hey dude. i do the same thing. ive been forceflowering my girls outside since the end of july. all i do is is put them in a light proof cupboard for 12-13 hours a night. i take them out in the morning between 8-8:30 and then bring them in when the sun goes down. if you havent got room to putthem in a dark closet just do what matchbox said with the black bin and put it over the top for twelve hours or get some sort of contraption to cover the plant from light.

you can force flower at any time... if your just letting it flower naturally then usually they finish by the beginning to end of autumn when they feel the winter coming on, and as the natural cycle of the sun changes with shorter days etc.

maybe end of May/June in the southern Hemisphere.
