You claimed to never see a drug cartel member and put "" around the word cartel. If that wasn't meant to imply that cartels are all bs, then what was the purpose of that?
i think the whole "cartel thing" is exaggerated. exaggeration is a sign of desperation. i'm not buying it.

i'm not denying cartels, i'm simply stating they don't influence the california pot scene like you are led to believe.

the poll is pretty swayed when people from other states are voting yes in hopes of it helping their own state. most of which hang you for pot.

i need to start a "califonia only" voters thread so we can get an idea where we're really at as far as "true" votes go.

might as well kill the poll. don't know what i was thinking.
Ahhh, I see. Your side gets killed in the voting so now you want do-overs. lol

So this didn't happen?

FRESNO, Calif. — Nearly 100 people have been arrested in an ongoing sweep of marijuana-growing operations that has netted more than $1.7 billion worth of pot in California's Sierra Nevada range, federal and state agents said Thursday.

Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims said several Mexican drug cartels were involved in the grow operations and that most of the 97 people arrested are Mexican nationals. Agents were combing tracts of public land in the remote stretches of Fresno, Madera and Tulare counties.

"Tremendous devastation has been done and continues to be done by these industrial-sized grows," said Gil Kerlikowske, who directs the White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy and was in Fresno on Thursday to support the raid. "I think when people see what these marijuana grows do to their land, it makes a huge difference."

About 450 agents have destroyed more than 432,000 marijuana plants during the three-week sweep, which ends Friday, Kerlikowske said.

That was only 430k plants. I guess it could have all been for personal use. Maybe they had insomnia and it was a medical grow?

i'm still waiting for my answer on the one ounce limit.

not really.

i just never realized some many outsiders were so desperate.
lol. State wide scientific polling has prop 19 passing. There are two polls on these forums both have prop 19 passing. Have all the do overs you want, people want to end prohibition. They may believe some of the anti-prop 19 misinformation, some might not like some of the details, but at the end of the day people want to end prohibition and they see prop 19 as their best chance to do that. No amount of voting do-overs is going to change that. Your not going to convince the majority of cannabis smokers in California or anywhere else that they should support prohibition. You might get a few, but not a majority.

i never said i wanted a do over.

once AGAIN you are making up your own argument.

if you understood me to be saying i want a do over you are mistaken.

what i am saying is "if you don't live in cali this is NOT your election".

you got it now?

so what's with the one ounce limit? how many times you gonna avoid it?

You got your answer. No one but a dealer needs to carry around more than an ounce on them. You may not like that answer, but it is why the one ounce limit is in the law.

How much bud do you need to carry to take care of personal use? Seriously? You really need to carry around more than an ounce for "personal use"? lol. come on...

fuck the cartel. close the fucking border.

Wow. How come no one as thought of that before? It's so simple. We say fuck the cartel and close the boarder and the problem is solved!

Yeah, I get it. You didn't get the voting response you wanted so now it's "boohoo! no fair! you cheated! I want do overs!"

so what's with the one ounce limit? how many times you gonna avoid it?
I've answered it twice now. Pretending I didn't doesn't change that. I'm sorry the answer wasn't one you liked, but that's the answer.

if that is the reason for the limit it is judgmental and all the more reason to vote no.

i don't understand how the limit will stop drug dealing, care to enlighten me. if you can. or you can spin off in another direction.

the whole prop is based around a one ounce limit. lets address it a little deeper than "only drug dealers need more".

i made butter yesterday. i make 2 pounds at a time because it is a long process. i split it up and freeze it to use over several months time. i use 4 ounces of bud. so now because i make butter. i'm a drug dealer?

your reasoning is flawed.

so what's with the one ounce limit?
needed for passage. just like the continued prohibition on 18-20 year olds.

once people see that legalization isn't the end of the world, it is likely the 1 oz limit will increase.

1 oz is only the limit for what you can carry. you can store pounds in your 5x5 space if you want, or get a med card if you want/need to carry more.

i've never had to take more than an ounce with me anywhere. not even if i had to go away for a month.

i clarified my comments. i have no reason to deny them.

that doesn't explain why they puit a one ounce limit. why ONE ounce?

one ounce of schwag?

one ounce of bomb?

an ounce of inidca?

an ounce of sativa?

how about hash?

maybe a dash of honey oil?

just because you don't need an ounce doesn't mean others don't. see: "judgmental" and "butter". ;)

i see flawed reasoning here, too.

you have medical. you can still make your butter after this passes.

so can recreatonal users. store the 4 oz in the 5x5, cook with it when needed.

so simple a caveman can do it (not an insult, just parroting geico)

lets pretend for just a moment that i don't have medical.

i can't make butter? :(

if i can store all i want, why the one ounce limit?

are you just playing devil's advocate now?

prop 19 is clear: 1 oz is 1 oz....no matter whether schwag or bomb.

do you really think this would pass if the limit were 1 pound, or no limit whatsoever?

i would prefer that as well, but wiley college would have also preffered to debate on okc university campus. they took what they could get. they ended up winning their debate with harvard.

one step at a time....

an ounce of shwag is not the same as an ounce of bomb.

unless you vote yes.

;)

"i'll take whatever i can get" is a pretty desperate attitude. i don't think anyone in cali is desperate to smoke pot.

answer me honestly:

when have you NEEDED to take more than one ounce with you?
that has no reasoning as to why i can't. judging again.

how about, .... "i'm moving across state a few counties and this is what was in my closet. it's only in my car for the trip across state".

think i'll be able to drive away with 5 ounces?
