Do you feed as much as you can get away with?

Just wondering if you feed as much as you can get away with....what ppms are you guys hitting throughout flower? Will you feed till tips are slightly burnt?

I currently feed at 900-1000 ppm in flower. No burnt tips. I feed every other water and am wondering if i can up my dose a little. How beneficial will this be?

I always start my feedings during flower at around 600-700ppm and gradually increase until I notice some tip burn. Then I back off a bit. Depending on the strain I've gotten up to 1200ppm. It really depends because in dirt I try not to get past 1000 ppm because then I get a lot of salt buildup. And then if you don't flush regularly you will get more then tip burn.
Btw, what nutes are you using? sometimes you don't really need to pump up the ppm's too much but add something like beneficial bacteria or fulvic/humic acids and it will increase your nutrient uptake.

hey kimber thanks for the reply. i use a ton of nutrients. right now i am giving GH maxi grow/bloom to everything. i supplement with humic acid, great white myco, humboldt county snow storm, calmag, gh sweetener, humboldt roots (seaweed extract)
in veg i stay around 500-700 ppm...as you say i also raise up slowly during flower. i give fox farm 3 part ripener, cha ching, open sesame and the other one.

care to explain your nutrient regime? i am interested in what others use and the result given. got a journal?

Generally yeah - but this time I've mixed nutes and used less than half of the recommended dosage on both and I reckon I've got more than usual off them...

I never go over 1000 ppm. I also use fulvic and humic, humic for veg and fulvic for bud. The odd time those in flower get a feeding of carbo load. Everything, veg or flower gets H2O2 everytime I water, even during the flush.

i to cant get to grips with feeding nutes as i mix what it says on the bottle (GHE Flora Series) but having to dilute with an extra 30 liters of water and am still gettin a readin of 1.2-1.4 on my truncheon and are due nutes today growing in hydro do i add more till i burn them then dilute it down

Yes, but have you experienced it personally? I HEAR so much BS that my own experience is the only criterion I can trust.
I agree. The friend that tells me he is getting nute burn is also a newbie. Not there to watch what and how he is doing his feeding. It takes a few years to recognize what a plant needs and it is so easy to get caught up in the hobby. "I NEED TO DO SOMETHING LIKE FEED THEM"
