new grow rooms looking for ideas....

I m about to start a new grow room in one of the bedrooms in my apt. its 11x10 with a small closet. I have several different lighting systems/aero from friends but have never built a room myself. I really just need help with best maximizing the space i have with the most plants i can fit for max yield. with the lighting i have which is 2 600w mh for veg and either 2 600w hps or 1 1000w for flower. also any ideas for ventilation would be appreciated.

Welcome to riu.
I would say use 1 600 mh for veg no need for 2.You can add the extra 1 with the 2 600 hps for flower. It will give you a full spectrum effect.
11x10 sounds like enough space to have a flower room and a veg room.Just make the flower room a liitle bigger.Might need some 2x4 and panda film to divide it into two and keep light from the veg room from getting into the flower room. Its that simple you can look on youtube plenty of people do this stuff.

Hmm...in an Apt?....Im pretty sure theres rules against putting holes and stuff into the walls, etc...And dont they inspect your place every so often?

If i was in that situation, i'd make a stealth cabinet in the closet or something.

True^
Although it's probably in direct conflict with lease terms. It will keep you safe the first time, give you time to clear everything out. Do it again and you're evicted.

and i m just trying to get one quick grow with the absolute highest yield i can pull with the space i have. honestly just havent ever had this much space to grow in.

That changes everything. Balls out time!
How much time do you have? Longer veg=bigger yield.
You can hang 4 lights vertical and surround each with 5 trees.
You can build a stadium with about 30 per side.
Those are the cheapest and simplest I can think of. I've run trees before and run two stadiums now and either will fit that space and crank out the buds big time.

agreed. Its up o you with what type of method you want to use growing. You will get alot no matter what with the space and equipment you are using.

yea i got all that i just havent ever tried to actually make a room this big and i m not the most creative person or a the best builder. but i do kno the basics of growing i have had two harvests but both times i bought the setup and i dont have the money to go out and buy a system of this size. more or less if anyone has any pics of something they setup around this size that would be great or anyone that has any large ventilation pictures.

Stadium is basically shelving units laid back like a staircase to mimic the shape of a stadium. Put a few plants on the ends and the effect is just like the bowl of a football stadium.
I use 5x600W hung vertically down the middle with three shelves on either side and a tree on each end. It's ten feet long. If you use 1000W lamps you can do five shelves per side.
This technique was pioneered around here by a Canadian dude called Northern Farmer. I think he goes by NFR now. There are several threads on this board and many others using this style.
NFR did stadiums with 250 plants in them. I've been doing it about three years now and have worked out a way to use bigger plants. I like to sleep at night.

so you have these lights all hanging vertically in the middle making like a pentagon facing away from eachother and i have like a layered shelving system going all the way around the lights?

More like a rectangle, but, yeah that. But the lights hang in a line, no reflectors or hoods. You use all 360 degrees of the light. Much more efficient. You can use cool tubes on the lights, but it's not necessary with enough venting.
I use 2gallon bags of Promix and handwater. Doesn't get much simpler than that.
Hang the filter high against the ceiling and run the fan 24hrs. Removes heat during lights on and maintains negative pressure (no smell leaks) and helps to control humidity at night, well, a little anyway. You'll still need a dehummer for this big an op.
