I don't know about you, but at eighty five degrees, I'm thinking it's getting pretty warm and my guess, your plants think so too. Your skin should tell you how your room feels, if it feels warm to you, it feels warm to your plants. At eighty degrees the stomata on your plants start closing, it's pores. Now imagine if it was eighty five and your pores stopped working and your couldn't sweat, just think of how hot your would feel. Your girls feel the same way. Personally I don't like my room to hit the low eighties. I also think heat stress beside slowing the growth of your plant is a major player in causing a plant to hermie.
