update and question :
ordered x4 lamp fixture adapter for wall plugin
x4 Y connectors
x1 25watt F18/T8 flouresent tube for the light fixture below ( blue one )
x1 5 socket powerbar with on/off switch

plywood is coming tomorrow, going to do sheets over the outside shell, sillicone it from the inside for seals, then measure up a shell for the inside and sillicone AGAIN for extra sealant. still wondering what im going to do with the wires. i plan to use tinfoil as a reflectant because i am broke and cant afford mylar.

put together these fans, intake will be at the bottom left wall, and the larger fan will be at the very top sheet ( as in under the top part of the cabinet ) will be cutting out right size to fit in fans in the inner shell, and will be drilling holes infront of the fans on the outer shell.

my questions are, from the photo below, how can i mount this on the side of the wall? also, the power bar i ordered has them on the back too, but they are a bit smaller... and what can i do for the smell when flowering? id like something DIY and cheap.. it would be great if i could install it now and not later when i plan to flower. I plan to just grow a small plant, or two and flower them at a early stage.
included a pic of the plant im planning to grow, its about 5 days old from being germenated, just bagseed but kush so whatever..

also, i found some gardening shit right under my nose, wonder if i can use it for anything or to substitute for something else. If not thats cool too... but heres all the photos!

rather than mylar or foil, how about you paint the inside of the boz a flat white? just use spraypaint... and it will cost bugger all lol

dirty1 is right, dont use the foil, it'll make your box even hotter. white paint is the way to go. that shultz stuff could be used for cloning. probably wanna stay away from the MG nutes if possible. i dont know what you should do for mounting the stuff, ive never made a box before or had smell issues. might wanna check out some other grow box designs on here in the DIY forums.

alright, thanks again RiU and Tiger, you have been great help on my quest for the holy grail! I found some flat white spraypaint, im going to do a tiny sand job tonight and then spray the frame. my buddy decided to fuck the dog and not come and see me today for plywood so it looks like im waiting another day or two :( im fixing up another computer this week, and i will probably make another 50-100$ off of it and i plan to buy the three big bloom, tiger bloom and the other one along with some oceans soil that i seen someone mention in a thread. its going to rack me up about 60$ for the lot if i order it. i guess this will be my grow journal for now, but i do want to make another thread once the box is finished if that is not against the forum rules.

hey, quickly before i go to bed - does anyone know how to make a homemade filter for smell problems? i remember a year or so ago there was a blueprint to make one on here

cant help you there, i never used one. smell isnt a problem for me. i'll explain the nutes more when you need to start adding them, you got a few weeks before introducing them.

right on, the thing is.. im using soil with like.. white specs of shit in it from my backyard and i think its slowly going to kill my plants. when my foxfarm shit gets in, i hope i dont fuck up the transplant because ive never done one of those either

awesome. you really are awesome! haha. i forgot to add.. since my grow box is fairly small.. im thinking about growing either 4, or 6 plants that will be small in my area.. and then just flower them early. is there any way i can keep them from getting too tall, but more bushy? i was thinking about putting a mesh or screen at the exact spot i want the plants to stop, so they hit them and then start growing down instead of up, kind of like a ball or something.... i am not looking for a huge outcome.. just want to finally pop up a friends house and smoke some home grown shit!

search some scrog or sog grows. you could do something like that but on a small scale. also i would do 12/12 from seed if i were you.

the thing is, the box is not setup yet. i give it two days before i have everything in possesion, or on its way. i need a timer then... or use my alarm clock but im a lazy piece of shit so i dont know how well that would work. walmart = timers?

uhh as far as i know, they should. might have to order one. it is a MUST tho, timers are very critical. i have one for my veg and flower area

LOL, such a good movie! im going to look online for the timer. i found out that .. hardware stores ship from .com's but dont ship from .ca's. i still love my country though! I found a REALLY nice website that sells the adaptors and the Y adaptors for free shipping, and the adaptors are like 2.00 and the Y adaptors are like 3.50 i was amazed.. came home in a drunken haze and i was like are u fuckin kidding me? ill post the site in a second. okay a second is up. www.synergylightingsupply.com << i recommend that to anyone who needs to buy shiet. looks like im not going to bed, rum and coke called and were goin on a date.
