How long can plants be in dark for...

Hi i would like to know my parents is comming to town for the weekend and they are staying over at y place for two day's what woul appen if i put my plants ia dark room for aboat 48 hours will it afect my buds in anny way the plant is four weeks into budding and i just want to know if it is safe for my bbys or not.. please reply

i dont think anyone can answer that question...but maybe u could b the first to try...id imagine it might stress them a bit or not much of a positive or neutral effect to it...but i wouldnt have a clue to be honest...do they reallly really need to be in the dark???

whell ill go hide them at my office next door is my company so no worrys boat my boss finding it its just the only place i knwf where i can hide it live in city and my flat is on the second floor so dont have place to put it outdoors so ja i think the best place would be in the dark hidden.one of my frends sead he left his plants in the drk for 5 days and nothing happend they wee just a bit wilty thats all but after two days un der his grow ight they were back at it i just want to make sure if i can do this or not really scared dont want to loose my crop.

supperskunk growing strong but they have been growing for four moanths this is the real sativa strain takes ten weeks for the buds to get done i got 6 more weeks to go and i hope they grow huge in bud size thank u for the complemint

yea shud starting fattenin up good from here on...i tried super skunk once...a mate got some SS bud from his mate and he got some seeds out of it...they sprouted and in two weeks did nothing at all...so i jus scrapped em...i dint really have space for them neither...

super skunk is a beautiful sativa! I have one going too right now, at about 8 weeks into flower. If there is any way possible I would hook up your timer to a desk lamp or something so that you could have just a little light, that way it would simulate a cloudy day instead of complete night. I wouldnt take the chance with the skunk, that shit smokes NICE. Also, use molasses at the end if you want your buds to have any kind of density because skunks are light and fluffy by nature. If u want dense nugs, you have to thicken them yourself. Good Luck with your grow!

thank u verry much ill c what i can do wih the desk light and witch molases can u use to mak them more dense and compact and i dont want them to get killd by the dark coz this is my first grow and i have been loking fter these babys likemy kids the past 4 moanths thank u for the reply's to all

yeah leaving them in the dark for toooo long can stress a plant out and become a hermie if not a male. for safety i've heard 72 hours of dark is the max point(3 days).

nope they just started to shoot more hairs and there is more stuff growing on the buds but its not pollen sacks just think its smoking matter lol can u please help me out what do u think will happen if i leave my plants in the dark for two days hope to get some help soon anny advice would be really apreciated.

well there is a saying or technique. if you leave a plant in 48 hours it forces them to be mature 2 =P but i dont think you have that issue since you said more hairs have grown.

but be warn.... i stressed out alot of my plants i grew before in a closet just for shits and giggles. and i pretty much didn't care for its light cycle and all them bitches turn hermie.. i was upset but i was the only one to blame for not buying a timer right away.

well they are on a timer i got a timer the day i started my grow coz thats one of the main stuff u need for an indoor grow otherwise u really don't keep light cycles

have done 4 days without light, but couldnt tell you what happened to them later had to fuck them of, problems with pc plod...

no need for me to take them in that dark place no more my family not coming to town anymore so now my babys can grow and get done already hehe i feel like the day i got my first toy from my dad this time im just giving it to myself LOL thank you for all the help have some another problem pleas help me out would love it if i could get my buds bigger read below plz help

well the flowering nutes i am using now is 3.2.10 the stuff is cald multifeed and i come from south Africa can find all those cool nutes witch are overseas so help me out witch number thingy is the best don't know much boat nutes I'm just using this fish supplement stuff makes grow room stink like hell but my plants love it the stuff is clad seagrow U cant nuteburn your plants with it and if U give it like an extra strong dose of it the hole plant goose light green in color kwite amazing so ja i think im going to stick with that just wish i had something witch would make my babys nug's fatten more i don't know what U must give them hope U can help here is more pics of my babys week 5.
witch nutrient is needed to fatten up the buds plz help :'(
