Hey all you advanced growers, had a few questions for you. I'm posting pictures of a GDP seed I got in a package of 15 from a local dispensary. I know for a fact they are GDP and I've just never seed anything like it. Twins. I don't know what will happen to this thing if I try to grow it...Anybody here have any experience with this kind of thing? Do these kinds of seeds survive? Anyone know what will happen to this baby if I decide to grow it? Thanks for any knowledge any person can share:peace:

This is one of those scenarios where you get to be the proverbial guinea pig. I would suggest planting it like normal into a party cup or whatever, and see what happens. That will give you enough time to watch its growth and make decisions based on that growth. Hell, keep this as a separate thread based on this particular phenomenon and let us know how it plays out.

Anyone can plant a normal seed and grow it. We want to see the freaks.:hump:

I agree keep it separate alot of people will like to see how this turns out.

I've had deformed seeds before. It's a toss up. Either the genetic material is weak and inconsistent and doesn't pop, or you have an otherwise healthy plant. I wouldn't say any added benefit of potency or yield at all. It's still going to be limited by it's genetics. Some people think they have freak seed stock that turns into super weed. Not the case.

Yes but do you or anyone else think it will sprout at all, or 1, or 2 plants?

I don't think the genetic material is weak in this case...

fdd has a thread somewhere on here with a seed exactly like that...but i dont remember if he planted it or not. i would say more than likely you'll have twins.

i recently had twins from a TGA Qleaner seed...although my seed looked normal, not like yours and fdd's.

OH MAN THAT IS SO AWESOME. Thank you so much for documenting that!

How did you successfully separate the babies without disturbing them??

yeah no problem. it was a first for me so i had to take pictures.
i dug VERY carefully around the plants until i could see the whole root system, then i just gently pulled the runt out...luckily it came out very easy, no damage at all, i made sure to get at them early so i would have very little roots to fight with. i should have left them in the paper towel for another day and separated them before i planted them but i didnt know what they were gona grow into.

If it was 2 in 1 seed I think they qualify as identical twins where as mine are probably fraternal...but this is just my guess going off of how human twins are born
yeah i have no idea how it works in the plant world....im hoping for one male and one female so i can make some more seeds :hump:
