I have 2 plants...bagseed...theyre in 8th week of flowering and 2 different strains the good one looks like shes about a week or 2 away shes the one that makes me nervous...some of her seed pods have seeds and others dont...they are both...or were without a doubt 100 percent female...neither have male sacks and both are still putting out normal looking bud...wtf happened? they dont appear to be hermie but could they be? this is my first grow so there cant be any residual male pollen around...

Pollen is very light and can be carried miles through the wind. It is also very, very sticky and you probably wouldn't notice if some were to get on you somehow.Or someone else. Very transportable. It's entirely possible your girls got pollinated.

im growing indoors in my closet...i guess theres some way it could've gotten through my window...which is a small basement window and wafted into my fans from someone elses crop? I havent even seen another MJ plant for any pollen to get on me for over 6 months and over 1200 miles away...im not trying to put down your response its just amazing to me and saddens me...i just found out about an hour ago...maybe it'll give me some viable seeds and some personal smoke

It happens, the plant is naturally trying to survive and may have grown a small sack and it broke... I found what I thought were banana's in one of my plants and took them off carefully with some tweezers, haven't seen any new one's since

Also, if you touched a male plant then touched your girls, it could have pollinated them that way also...nature just finds a way

Well, all that means is the growers near you are doing a good job keeping things under-wraps;).. Still, if you caught no nanners throughout the entire grow rogue pollen is to blame. Don't feel horrible it's happened to more than just you. HEPA filters next round :D

Same thing happened to me!! The #1 cause is......BAGSEED!!! My 'bagseed" plant gave me 5 girls out of 7, everything was fine up till the 7th week of flowering then, BAMM!!! seeds in my buds. I'm guessing "one' of the BAGSEEDS was a hermie in the "closet" so to speak, Ha Ha. from touching the others it "seeded" the others. Alls not lost!!! I let them all go for another two weeks, chopped them, and i'm smoking it now!! The Buds were a bit "airy" but i still yeiled 6 oz. dry smoke. it wasn't as good as i thought (hoped) it would be but hey, it was my first time growing, and i still got 6 oz.s of some pretty good bud. DON"T USE BAGSEEDS EVER!!!!! You'll only get back what you've put in the ground, unknown????? Buds below are from ONE plant. Hope this helps. Leason Learnd....Dont use unknown seeds!!

Let me correct this. Females can not turn male, only hermaphrodite. Furthermore, males can not produce seeds on their own. Male pollen needs to pollinate a female flower in order to produce seeds, which then develop on the female flower. With a hermaphrodite, you have both sexes on one plant allowing it to produce seeds on it's own. The seed of this following generation, however, will have a much higher hermaphrodite rate than that of seed derived from separate parents.
