Using a fan, GENTLY blowing on the babies is important for good stem growth and overall plant health. The moving air stresses the plant, much in the same way that resistance training make your muscles stronger. Look out the window to see how Mother Nature does things. You'll see an almost constant breeze blowing, bending and stressing all outdoor plants. Same thing should be going on in your cabinet. GENTLE is the word though.
Also, I've had good luck propping up plants using cheap, plastic picnic forks. Bury the handle in the soil medium and put the stems of the babies between the tines. Careful not to have the fork spring back and break the little stems though. Good luck ...
