Vanished or not as shinny, could be changing to a cloudy more amber like so they would appear, or should I say disappear...lol, to have vanished.

no I can tell with my mag glass thay they are not there as well, they just vanished and i noticed it doing this for several days its about 12 week 1 day and i NEVER seen an amber trichome on this plant.

do you foiliar feed ? any liquid ? they normally arnt water soluable . but hot water , and or water with chemicals can break them down . unclean feed bottles or jugs , residual drops heated by lights or even pets can cause this .

no i cannot find a single seed...... i do not what so ever spray my flowers with any kind of mist, this is one of the plant that got bud rot due to a catapillar pissen in the very top cola but the bottem colas are not infected and they have lost there smell and trichomes....

Whats foiliar feed? only thing i gave my girls was a lil bit of miracle grow at vegetative stage and when i changed light schedule i switched from miracle grow to Green Light super bloom and i didnt give it a full strenth does, i started out as 1/4th strenth for pre flower and then moved up to 1/2 when pre flower was going into full flower and than i switched it to 3/4 when i saw that the plant was obviously in full flower

this one is was 11 weeks 5 days when i took this picture....
this is a sativa so it should be done?

does this bud look ripen?

I asked you this in your budrot thread, and you didn't answer me, so I'll ask again.....did all the pistils turn during the same week, or was it a slow gradual process? I had suspected pollination, before you mentioned a lack of trichs, or odor, and now I suspect it even more. I lost two back-to-back harvests this year, due to a hermie that I never did locate, and your pics look the same as mine did,...all the pistils have turned, the calyxs aren't swollen and juicy, and the buds look generally 'airy'. I've only grown one sativa strain, but, it was always sprouting new pistils, even when it was mature, which is more evidence. Cut off a few of those calyxs and carefully cut them open. If you see a tiny light-green ball developing inside most of them, you've been pollinated, and have a hermie hiding somewhere. I hope not, for your sake, but the evidence is pointing that direction. :)

the new growth had new clear trichomes growing and the old ones are brown there still some very clear ones there, jaw you think i should just cut this?

i did some more digging around and there were a few cases of lost trics , due to very
cool dark hours (55 degrees F . or under )
this hasnt been confirmed ... but if the pollination throry cant be identified possibly look at this

It looks like my trichs are on the move too. I looked at them 2 days ago and they were sparkling, then today it's much less sparkly. I don't mist anymore because I don't want to take any chance on dislodging trichs, so it's not that. It's also not cool temps. And finally, it's not from pollenation, as I checked thoroughly for male flowers and there's none. Whatever monster ate your trichs might have come here for desert.

Do you guys have fans blowing directley onto your buds ? ...I know this might seem like a stupid question ... But this is a bit of a puzzle that they had crystals and now they don't ... Not herd this befor .

Could it be that they have hardened and dryed and are being shaken and blown off ... like sugar grains ?

Seems odd :)

trichs shrivel and go amber when they r over ripe and they are also destroyed by light but gradually build up more resin druring their dark period, perhaps try your plant on a longer dark cycle

i think you might have let the plant go to long and now its eating the trichs? idk other theory like a few said is polination if its a big crop maybe theres a pollen sack hiding somewhere on one of your plants?

It could be the fan thing at this end. I moved my fan so that it don't blow directly on the plant. If I don't see trichs sparkling good in a couple days, I'll lengthen the dark cycle. I don't know that it's either of those things, but if it is, I'm right on it.

Sorry if it seems I hijacked your string, but we have the same problem here.

good luck man :)... Do me a favour ? .... Can you PM me with the result , I would like to know if the fan contributed to it in any way :)

Thanks :)
