I tied down a few of my main stems today and let my girl bake in the sun and when I tied down these tops they were close to horizontal.... Im gonna include some pics and let me know if u guys think I should continue to keep doing this or just let her grow now.. Ill try and find a couple more before so far the first one was this am the other this pm after lst all day

Hey Goober!

A couple of questions:

- topped plant?
- how long are the stems from the mix?
- gallons and diameter of bucket?
- What are you tying to?
- What are you using for tie downs?
- What type of soil? Pro Mix, b'cauzz?

Help meeeee also Im finding that taking the plant and putting it in the darkest place possible over night insead of leaving it outside and it seems to be working well.... Should I leave it in the dark for longer periods something like 16/8 or so??? Natural lightig is ok but outdoors it doesn't really get completely dark till alot later........

Nah I'm just using MG Bloom for my flower nutes, also I'm tying down with twin and kinda tying to the handle of the bucket ya know wha I mean??? Also soil is my own mix but I'm happy with it this plant was In The ground till a few weeks ago, but I'm using reg. Soil (store bought potting sil no nutes in the soil) about a 40% perlite mix

A 5 gallon bucket is ~38" in circumference, you have ~48 in stem. You should train it now.

Drill 1/2" holes every 2" around the rim of your bucket for tie down anchors.

Use spools of garbage bag ties for tie downs, easier than sting.

12/12 is all most plants need for dark. Any longer reduces yield, potency and increases flowering time. 6 light / 18 dark can be used indoors to reduce electrical costs per gram or heat in the summer, but a price is paid in yield per square foot, potency, flowering time. For any one particular grower under 6/18 and 12/12, they will do better with more energy going into the system. More in, more out.

note: there is a school of thought that 6/18 bud is more potent than 12/12 bud because it has longer to mature under otherwise optimal growing conditions. Not as many grams or highs per grow, but more highs per gram. Or one more intense high with one gram.

Bagseed belive it or not. Did you notice how she is ENTiREly 3 fingered?? She was in a real low light area to begin with so it stunted her but she got topped by nature and turned female so I wnr with it....
The left stem almost las down by itself, remember this is outdoor plant so I shouldn't bring this indoors at night or what?
I'm gonna shoot a muther fcker if they coM e creeping around!!!!!
She's also been flowering now for about 3 weeks veryyyyy slowly!

Most strains are slow to switch into flower in the first couple of weeks, it might not be enough dark yet, it might be growing in absolutely optimal conditions as is. Don't sweat it, leave it where it's at. It looks great, keep doing what you are doing.

Dont worry MG is fine if you make sure and dilute my plant does not look the way it does due to nutrients, so dont make half asssed assumptions you obviously dont have a clue what your talking about.....see all the 3 fingered leaves???On every single node??Thats is a sure indicator of light stress or genetics at the least.....not nutrients, it was in a very low level light area for months,
anyways I got my MG Bloom booster same place that carried the MG Regular, But if I had the money, the time ,and the real set up to go with I WOULD use advanced nutrients,
but I DONT so im just using what i have with the mixtures diluted and letting mother nature due the rest at this point.....

It's not A half assed assumtion. I used MG years ago . I saw the difference . I can taste the difference. Light years aways from AN connoiseur. I know it's alittle exspensive but well worth it if your just growing the legal amount in Cali for med. purposes.

This has been debated sooo many times, but yes I would prefer to use the AN and next time perhaps I willl, but alas, we cant all live in Cali!!!!!
And i was pretty sure that as long as I Flush properly the taste would NOT be affaetced by the MG

No worries,me to. I grew up on the East coast and had some pretty decent grows when there was nothing on the market but MG. I don't have much money either . I'm on S.S at a relatively young age. I just wanted to say there are better products that are inexpensive. I just had to sacrifice some other things like my pain meds.

I HAVE TO get off it I AM GOING TO GO NOWHERE AS long as I stay on it....So anyways my primary reason for this is to be able to get to the point where I can use A great Strong strain to help myslef with withdrawels anyways diff. subject entirely.

hey man i feel for you those dones are bad news i almost got sucked into em to but i wasint perscribed them i was just a wild child, anyways i know there is better nutes out there its just a matter of getting to em jethead trust me if i could id have the full line of FF nutes but alas i have no way of getting them so i have to go to what i can get wich is MG or whatever i can find at wally world or lowes i live in a damn small town prolly one of the only people trying to grow high quality herb here so i gotta do what i can.

Wow bro, Ifeel for you. I've been on 200 mg of morphine a day plus 60 mg of hydrocodone for about 4 years. I,m trying to kick it as well and started. the med. grade mj is helping. Hope you can as well. Hopefully your state will start adopting these laws as well . I have afeeling it's going to happen sooner than later.
