That "SR" looks like a direct cross between a sativa female & an auto flower male. Crazy she's that tall, the buds look great.

There smelling great too, I've heard short rider doesn't have much of a smell but thats not the case with this girl :)

Yea she sure is pretty, I hope these buds start to fatten up a little more but I know it takes time. She does look sativa like from the pictures I've seen of other sative plants, the WW has some fat bushy leaves on here with no space between the blades.. I'm guessing shes more indica..? These Plants look completely different and I couldn't be happier at this point in the grow, CHEERS!bongsmilie

Just fed her full strength nutes and upped the tiger bloom to 2.5 teaspoons per galon. Lets see how she responds to that.

Day 33, still seems like it has a while to go but what do I know :)

Thank Nirvana....I mean We coulda been smokin on a lil bit of good bud a month ago bud now we will be smoking on plenty of good in about a cpl months.
Nah really I think I am pleased with the plants the short riders grew into, just not what the blueprint said it was gonna be.
All my short riders are taller than me with nice colas stacking up, bout another month or so maybe.

Yea your absolutely right husalife, Nirvana came through for us! I could Imagine the size your buds will turn out with those monster plants lol.. I'm thinking mine will be chopped and dryed just starting the cure in around 4 weeks.. I'll probably taste the first sample around then.

another reason to thank Nirvana "or for me anyway" is that they sent me replacement seeds because these didnt auto.

Cant wait to see your turn out and compare the smokes.

one of my SR's is at about 7 feet now, growing in a 5 gallon bucket.

Damn 7 feet!! I can't wait to see the main cola chopped off that big girl. Now we need to convince Nirvana to change the name and the description lol.. I agree though, nirvana came through for us and damn you for getting free seeds out of it lol.. For real though I'm going to see if they will do something for me too because you guys know damn well mine didn't auto either!!

Did they send you more shortriders?

Yea, they just resent my same exact order of 10 reg short rider seeds.

Id send the link to your grow when you write them and let them know they can look for themselves.

They should hold up their end no prob.

Well the time has come to take some samples. She will be going into her 7th week of flowering on tuesday so I decided to pull the scope out and give the trics a look!

For some reason the lowest and smallest buds seemed to be mostly cloudy with a hint of amber I'd say about 10% so I decided to take the 3 lowest branches so I can compare the different type of high this strain puts off from cloudy to amber.. There wasn't much on these 3 branches but I was originally going to chop them anyway so at least i'll be able to get a little out of it.. Plus the practice is nice too!!:mrgreen:

I took a little bud and tried the "quick dry" technique aswell so hopefully I'll be smoking that in a few hours but I'm not expecting much from it YET:joint:

Lmk what you guys think, remember I'm new to all of this so any tips you guys/gals would be great!!

Right now I have them hanging in the dark/dry box but I couldn't hook my cpu fan up so I'm not sure if thats going to cause problems not having an exhaust fan??? it has a huge hole in the back of the box and the temp and humidity should be perfect I'm just worried about the cirulation..?? Any help is much appeciated and + Rep will be given!:confused:

Anyway here's the samples, lmk what you think!:peace:

I rolled a little blunt with a small "quick dried nug" and it seemed to smoke pretty smooth. I was actually suprised it stayed lit and burnt good for being dried half assed.. The rest is hanging and will be dried properly for 5 days or however long it takes for the stem to just about break. Then I'll sample it with the bubbongsmilie

I'll practice my curing with the rest and see how it turns out as time passes:mrgreen:
Thats the plan anyway.

I posted in the "Want to know if your palnts ready" thread and fdd said about 2 weeks which is what I figured so I'll see how it looks in the next week or so and go from there.
