germination

okay, so i'm trying to germinate some seeds and i left them in a cup for about 2 days and they sank. So i just put them in potting soil, is this a right thing to do? or should i have kept them in water longer?

i think some people leave it over night, honestly i just take them as it is and germinate them in wet paper towels because perhaps the wet paper towels itself will soften the shell down for the root to break through anyway.

You can do a lot of things with seeds in order to germinate it, from scratching bits of the seed with a kife, to bunging it straight in the soil, it should be fine, just don't let the soil dry out, but it shouldn't be sopping wet either

Cannabis has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, and somehow managed to keep itself germinated and propagated without ANY help from mankind, whatsoever.
When I grow, I only want the best seeds to germinate and I'm NOT about to help some, "little weak-assed sister" of a seed along with "special" treatment. No by God, just the strong, vigorous ones that can do it on their own; BANG, into the hole it goes, and the strong SURVIVE. Good luck & good grow.......BB

Seeds just need warmth and moisture to germinate. They do not NEED to be shoved into paper towels.
