actually spliffs do get you higher.
the tobbacco burns very hot and solid, burnign the weed much better than just in a joint (even if its well ground).
i dont smoke tobbacco but on trips to england my british friends have had be tokin the spliffs and they do work well if you're hurting.

I don't know if this has been said, but why not just cut your losses and just realize .5 of weed isn't enough weed to get you high more than twice?
Roll two joints and your good, or separate it into a few bowls.

yeh poppers aka Tooters in england get you F.U.C.K.E.D , just have one and leave it at that, I can smoke endless bong rips until i would pass out, but i can only handle 2 tooters straight, and this is off a little lucozade bottle (330ml) when im usual smoking off my 40cm bong lol. trust me when i say dont do more than you can handle, they will make you whitey easy, not a nice feeling.
