ok m8 thanks. do you mean 17 days from seed or do you do 14 days from seed then start ya 17 days veg.

I currently have one single AK48 feminized from Nirvana growing.

She's currently in week #4 of flowering.. looking really healthy too. But for some reason.. I smell fucking cherries when I get around the plant?? Not sure what that's all about.. as I don't know much about this strain to begin with. But yeah, she's really starting to stink now.. and I've heard this strain gets really stinky the further she gets into flowering.. so we shall see what happens.

So far though, she's nice and tight.. and bushy and full.. tight node spacing.. which means tight/dense bud formation = dense buds. ;) Yeah!

It'll be nice to have some rock hard dense nugs.. instead of airy and loose popcorn nugs which is what I got from my last Nirvana 'Ice' plant. It's excellent smoke.. don't get me wrong.. but the buds are a little too airy for my likings. But none the less, I have another one (my last seed) going right now.. of the 'Ice'. She's a fucking monster too.. for being indoors. She's 4.2 feet tall and about 3 feet wide... and her buds are ENORMOUS!! and she's in week 7.. almost week #8 of flowering.. but she takes a good 10 to 11 weeks to finish.

Just a little tip for anyone growing or thinking of growing Nirvana's Ice strain... this strain is VERY VERY Sativa.. and I think that has everything to do with how the buds seem to be a bit airy.. Sativa strain buds tend to be less dense than Indica strain buds.. its just the way the cookie crumbles. ;) Also, she loves to be fed.. but be sure and keep a strict feeding/watering schedule with this strain. It's almost like the plant has a mind of its own.. and if you miss a feeding.. she'll let ya know within a few days or so. But as long as you keep the strict feeding schedule.. she stays happy and grows VERY quickly once she starts to actually flower. Lastly, the Nirvana Ice strain is notorious for doubling/tripling its height during flowering as well.. so just make sure you give the plant plenty of head room and you'll be just fine.. and your plant will love you for it as well.

thanks m8. a na a lad who grows nirvana ice and its sum ov the funkiest shit ganen. he also duz jak herer the original and the taste ov tha stuff is betta than owt. gud info m8 thanks.

ok then day 15, heres a pick took day 15....
i had a comment saying to flower these ak48.. at day 17 but am not sure duz anybody else have a comment on how long a shud veg ak48 from seed........

Honestly looking at your pictures I'd go another two weeks or till you feel they are tall enough. What I have doneis propagate my plant for 10 days then start a 1 month veg. I'm not growing ak48 I'm growing blackjack but they are both short strains. Mine was 15 days old on the 9th and is still only 2" tall. Lots of leaves though and nodes for it's height.

excellent bit ov info m8 a was finkn bowt 4 weeks from seed meself but wasnt 2 sure coz when a grew lsd a grew 6 veg weeks and 6 flower

From what Iv read there is a cherry phenotype of the AK48 and it supposed to be the absolute dogs nuts, the best of them all! Id clone it if I was you, even if its flowering already take a clone and reveg it. Once the clone has rooted and vegged a bit take another clone from the new growth, throw out/flower the revegged clone and use the gen 3 clone as your mother. Means you'll get to keep the delicious cherry phenotype forever!

well just a little up date on day 15. weather is realy warm and sticky at the min outside but am able ta keep my temps down ta 28 degrees tops. av just disconectd me carbon filter and ran sum 4 inch duct from me rvk 100 down to me bulb and its suken the hot air out a treat, and it means a can get the lights closer 2 me plants wich r nw well on tha way.:weed:

just a little update... just chekt me girly's tha luken nice, tha realy doing sum growing in the six hours dark tha gettin. got 1 plant growing faster threw the early stages than the otha 4....

cant wait for this stuff ta be ready coz its fukn 20 quid rund ya for 1.7 gram and 200 a oze. cant afford ta keep paying tha, thats why a d me own grows.. just wish a hadnt hamad me last crop been stoned constantly for 3 weeks. but a daint grow ta sell i keep this treat for meself and ta keep this habbit alive.....

cant belive the growth ov these the last 2 days. they shud defnitly be ready t flower in 2 weeks. well am off owt on the piss al checkn in the morn afta av:spew:

I grew AK-48 fems from Nirvana and they are now my favorite. The grow very fast and are almost immune from accidental abuse. I love them

i agree... a great plant, decent producer, lots of branches, easy to clone. this is a 8-9 week strain right?
