she is outside so the temps have been really low at night
i found this...dont seem to be what you got going on..other than the coloring..but its supposed to happen on older leaves..its on your new leaves....but the part about the roots may be true...its not locking out the nutes is it?...but anyways this is what i found...
Temperatures Too Cool
As a rule, when plants are exposed to temperatures that are too low, the leaves curl down and around themselves. The most recently formed leaves may become colorless. Because of reduced nutrient availability to the slow-growing root system, the old leaves may turn purple. Raising the temperature, particularly at night, is the only way to correct the problem.

well in my opinion..and others will go against it..they yellowing of the leaves is normal..thats the buds taking the sugars and the N from the leaves.and no matter how much N or other ferts you add they can still turn yellow..not in all cases, but most.long as the leaves still hold a good structure and its just a yellowing issue id be content..thats just its natural process..it can be corrected..but wont harm it if it isnt.as long as them buds are growing your good..think at the end..all those leaves get chopped off anyways.sometimes the yellowing just happens...you could end up doing more harm trying to correct it then let nature do its thing.would hate it to lockout its nutes trying to fix the yellowing and take away from the buds.as for the darkening i think it happens in some plants.is it just your outside plant thats happening too?

calibration weight is whats up. I have a $25 scale that's been accurate for the last 2 years. I just make sure to calibrate it before EVERY use and it's good to go.

Outdoor plant update day 63

I cut off alot of yellow leaves because they were... yellow and i dont want people to see my plant on the balcony.

why are some of the leaves really dark especially around the buds?

Oh this is what you guys were talking about?

This plant looks good. The progression of the yellowing from old leaves to new points to the plant nearing the end of it's life cycle. The leaves will start falling off and your buds will just get stickier and heavier with resin.

i totally agree...people say somethings wrong just cause the leaves are yellow and are falling off...well look at a tree...show me a single tree out there that dont lose it leaves or change it color...nature....these plants grew just fine for millions of years...without being pumped with chemicals.its giving you signs of being ready....people on here will tell you this that and the other thing about your plants being fucked up...some people feel better about themselves... by pointing out others flaws...whether there are flaws or not..and sorry if im ranting...im 5 minutes from chopping down 2 female plants and not too please about it

what?

why???!
after working on a light box till 7am last night and getting no sleep in an effort to bring my temps down from about 92-93 in the grow box...after an hour of the new light box with 2 new fans on it...the temps was running at 110.9...the temps and the stress caused from it being rootbound...during its seedling phase...dont ask...my diesel ryder has gone to hell...its about 3 weeks from finishing and isnt but maybe 7 inches tall...and from the hour of those temps..the roadrunner auto had all of its bottom leaves wilt and turn white on me...lets just say i was pissed...broke my hygrometer...kicked the grow box in...and pretty sure i fucked up all the 6500k lights....but...after calming down,i figured id keep the lil bastids...went and got a 200 watt 2700k...no more 6500k lights for my autos...way to much heat..so im pulling the the light box out...dropping the 6500k's and putting in the new light.im losing one cfl...but gaining 100 watts and more space for airflow......if you saw my thread you would get why this diesel ryder has pissed me off...it started flowering at 2 weeks...its done nothing bu grow hairs and bud sites..normally thats good..but not when..and not trying to brag...but its not good when my cock is bigger than my almost ready to harvest plant

i think it was the bulbs and the adadpters ....got them from ebay...first time i turned them on..only half would light up,then after about an hour the whole thing would light up...then kinda pulsed a bit...and also i think it was the y adapters i was using..cheap ones i ordered from hong kong..was 2 bucks shipping and all.never had heat issues till i started using those bulbs and those adapters...but hell..if you spent 12 hours working on something that backfired and royally fucked your plants up..you would be pissed too...and ive still got 3 other strains just waiting to get going...i almost chopped the diesel ryder just to make room for the papaya.and i havvent slept in 2 days now..and was on viks and xanax..not a good combo when not sleeping
