after reading https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/355662-every-who-has-gotten-raided.html and listening to every ones ideas of security i decided to post pix of my front door the only way in or out...the door was here when i moved in i have no idea what it cost or if it can be found in the states. but i feel safe as hell behind it.

9 of these lock bars total. 4 in the center
1 on the top
1 on the bottom
3 on the hinge side
door frame
this is the key
idea of thickness
gotta keep the kittys safe

it even has a key that if you lock the door from the inside with it any key on the outside will not work. if your worried about security look into a door like this

I dont understand what 9 locks are gonna do. if you get raided they just gonna ram the door in. Might take an extra 3-4 swings to get it down which is an extra 5-6 seconds... Its not like they are gonna show up try to get it down and fail and walk away never to be raided again. If they come that door is going down one way or another.

am i missing something?

Read the link he provided in his first post, it has nothing to do with the cops and everything to do with being robbed. So yes, you are missing something...

Read the link he provided in his first post, it has nothing to do with the cops and everything to do with being robbed. So yes, you are missing something...

the houses are not made with dry wall and 2x4 here either, everything is brick and concrete...makes hanging pictures fun, so those locking pins lock into a frame imbedded in a brick wall, it will take far more swings than 3-4 IF i were raided. enough time i would think to flush anything i need to.

it does but i have to turn it like 6 times and you can hear all the pins moving and shit sliding around inside the door. its pretty cool

I admire your gusto Mr Mike ... but as pointed out ...if the cops come they will get in befor they walk away ... Remember .... Cops recon now .. they don't just turn up without some prior knowlage of the building ... its occupents and the surrounding area ... Might stop bandits a bit though

You walked into a pretty nice setup Mike. I'm not just looking at the 9 bolts on the door, but the fact the door frame is steel. If you have 9 bolts in a wooden door frame, all they have to do is break down the door frame to gain entry which will be loud, but can happen very quickly with the right "tools" (sledge hammer, hand-held ram, etc.) With the steel frame and concrete, knocking that damn thing down would take several minutes. The only thing you might want to check into is getting a steel door, since the only "weak link" would be the wooden door, but I don't think that is something you would have to address immediately. In all truth, I hope you never have to fully utilize your setup, but if it does get put to the test by those with questionable intentions, I think you will be fine.

thanks you want one? i got 9 now, im in italy we have national naptime from 12-3 EVERYTHING closes for that time every day. cops are lazy and i live on the 3rd floor. IF it were to happen it would suck but i think id have some time to get rid of a few things. i have 1 plant and 1 clone thats it

much better to shove anything down a food disposal unit than a toilet. Food disposal units chop up plants like spare veggies no problem.... as opposed to clogging your toilette

idk how you do it im going insane, if i had a cash flow im sure things would be different, getting crazy sitting in my house watchin my plant grow waiting to be able to smoke. cant even get out to a bar.
