i had an idea the other day about temp issues...i read somewhere about dry ice producing co2...i wonder if i make a small camber..water tight..that can hold a small chunk of dry ice.that would had a lil extra co2 and maybe bring the temps down...dry ice is really pretty cheap.i used to get it for 3-4 day concerts.would get like 50 lbs for around 20 bucks.i would think a 4 inch chunk of it sitting next to fan wouldnt make it cold...but would chill it down during the hottest parts of the day.and a small chuck if kept away from the heat would last at least 2 days.kinda a bit much to do..but maybe worth it if temps get really really high

Well I've been having a little issue, I'm pretty sure it was due to the "fox farms don't bug me" because after I sprayed the plant down the leaves started to cup like in the pic..? Not all the leaves curled but a good amount of them. The new growth is fine so I'm thinking it was the spray anyone have any ideas? I havent started feeding them anything but big bloom and molasses with the ph adjusted between 6.5-6.8? They did get a light dose of grow big a couple feedings ago and I'll probably give it another light dose around week 3 of flowering like the FF schedule recommends..

I did search and another member with a similar problem was recommended it was a P deficency but his was looked a lot worse.
I am planning on getting Tiger bloom on friday so that should help if thats the case.

Here's a pic of the leaves curling/cuping.
I also added the two topped babies in so they can get used to their new spot! I'll be transplanting them in the next couple days or so to bigger pots.

Lst'd the Smaller SR in the 3 gal pot too.
when you sprayed the fox farms stuff on it...how long was the lights on..and how long was they on after spraying it?its best to spray it right as the lights come on.then the leaves pores are all the way open and absorb the liquid...where as if the lights have been on for a few hours..the pores close and the liquid stays on top of the leaf...that can make it spot burn and or overheat the leaf, making it curl up

Same thing happened to me the first time I sprayed my outdoor plants. I think I went a little heavy with the spray and I did it in direct sunlight. It didn't really damage them, but to this day a couple big fan leaves are still cupped like that and also look a bit plasticy. They didn't turn brown or die though.

Sounds like a good idea, I tried the frozen bottle of water and it just melted way to fast lol.. Lmk if you try it out!

Ah that makes sense! I sprayed them right after lights went out, 12/12.

WonderWoman is in the white pot, the Smaller shortrider is in the 3 gal black pot and still hasn't shown sex but is showing nice growth! I'll get some more pics up of the topped plants soon, I'm thinking of leaving the WW in with the flowering plants because shes already 10" tall and I don't want her to get out of control like the tallrider did.. I also threw in some shots of "Big Girls" hairs!

Picked up some tiger bloom yesterday, I fed the "big girl" with 1/2 strength T/B and full strength B/B.

Birthday pics tomorrow! I measured big girl and shes getting really close to the 30" mark! I can tell this is going to be one tall, "short rider.."

My short rider came in at 17 inches but i forced them to flower with 12/12 when they were 6 inches tall.

Yea this thing is going to get out of control! I'm not sure how the buds will turn out because I've heard anything over 2ft the cfl's wont penetrate.. I'm might have to add some more side lighting in if it jumps up as tall as I think it is.

Wonder woman showed hairs already, second day of 12/12! Waiting on the short rider still, its been about 2 weeks but it wasn't very mature when It went to 12/12. 3 Girls would be nice :)

I'm going to be taking clones soon, I'm probably gonna take 2 off the big short rider and two off the wonder woman. I'll be getting everything set up this weekend, and I'll throw up some pics of the clones when I take them!

"BG" is starting to get some nice tiny buds forming on top, I was wondering when is a plant considered to be in flowering? Right when you switch to 12/12 or when the plants actually starts to flower? I'm hoping these will finish in no longer than 8 weeks, its been 2 weeks on 12/12 already so that would be 6 to go!

Looking great as usual man. The WW looks like it has some nice branching. I think it was a really good idea flipping them to 12/12 when you did. Now we can FINALLY see the conclusion of this thing, haha, j/k.

When it starts to flower! mark it as week one when you see the first sign of a hair.
Thanks, I'll go back and find out exactly when it showed. I think its about a week and a half into flowering then.

Thanks! Yea the wonder woman has been great so far! I hope the clones I just took from her root because I would love to keep these genetics going.

I hear you, it seems like its taking forever!! Its funny how the one that made it was almost 2 feet tall when I brought it indoor and its already grow 6" since its been on 12/12. I hope 6.5-7 feet is enough room to keep this thing inside!!

Big girl will be going into the second week of flowering on monday, I can see some nice little bud points starting to form and now I see what they mean by doubling in size when you switch to 12/12! Shes up to 2-1/2 feet tall and growing by the hour it seems like.

I took two clones off "BG" yesterday and two clones off the wonder woman today.

So now I can get on with my budz and give you guys something to look at
First dose of tiger bloom seemed to be a sucess, I just fed wonder woman her first dose lets hope she feels the same!

The only problem at the moment that I know of is the topped bag seed funk plant seems to be yellowing at the leaf tips? I just fed a full dose of grow big and big bloom so I hope that helps.. Lmk if you have any ideas, its the very last pic enjoy!

That wonder woman is supposed to be the fuckin shiznit smelly I'm stayin tuned for that for sure. Seems like one of the best strains out there for potency, yield, & a quick finish. Amazing it showed sex that quickly!

I believe that yellowing could be a rare molybdenum deficiency. No bullshit.

Damn that sounds serious lol.. Luckily its the bagseed that I have 6 or 7 more of, do you know if there's anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks CD, I just checked on them today and all seem to be okay execpt the small one I took from the short rider, I had a feeling that wasn't going to make it though..

I'm really hoping to keep these babies going, thats awesome yours survived!! Where exactly did you take you clones from? The bottom? Any tips you could give me thats not obvious would be awesome! Then again I might have it down already :) Did you keep them on 12/12 for a couple days or just go right to more light?

i went up from 12/12 an hour each day till i got to 18/6, then i left the lights on for 2 days, then back to 18/6. like i said, i sprayed them a couple times each day to keep them wet, i used the dome the first 9 days. and yes, they were from the very bottom of the plant.
