Is this a grow light??? HELP

Ok I just find this lamp thing its got a handle on it!! Its some sort of floodlight but it dont say the brand name on it!!


It says WL500P_L
110-130V
500w 60Hz


so im guess its got a 500 watt bulb it put some heat out but i can fix the eat problem.. I Just need to know if this this will grow my plants is this light some sort of HPS light???

well damn lol!!! do yah know where to get just a ballast for a 400 HPS light not the reflector or anything just the ballsat with cord??? somewhere thats cheap!!

id check local hydro/gardening stores first . maybe craigslist or goto http://www.htgsupply.com/ unless someone knows somewhere beter , ebay has some also , if your in n.california i can help u out def.

There are lots of places like dednbloated says. Numerous hydroponics and indoor grow supply stores online, probably a hydro store within reasonable distance from your house as well. Google.
