hey guys. i been looking around and it seems like i cant find a straight answer. i get mixed results.

i just wanted to know is the rain bad for my plants. they are in pots with good drainage holes and are about 1 wk and half into flowering. a couple of them have started to form some nice buds.

will the rain damage my plants? i wouldnt of thought so because ganja was in the wild way before it was indoors. so they survived then. im thinking il only bring them in if it is terentual rain, like really heavy for agies.

so basically is rain a problem?

cheers and peace :joint:

As long the soil is pretty loose, has a decent amount of perlite/vermiculite, you should be fine. And the bigger the pot the better.

this is not from experiance but i would say during flowering try to keep the buds from getting wet as they might go mouldy, and you dont want mouldy buds

if your using nutrients the raiin will flush all your nutes out! other then that rain has a better ph then tap water. you should be fine as long as the plants arent getting to much water and getting pounded on by the rain. a lil rain never hurt nobody rite?

+ what jimmy said. u dont want to get those buds wet.

I agree with Rasta, My bigger concern would be rain soaking & breaking the branches. I was growing some Big Sur Sativa last year & had a couple of freak rainstorms last Sept. and lost a branch or 2. Bummer, so I dried em and smoked em anyway , wasnt as good as if they went the distance , but wasnt bad either.

It would have to be a hell of a lot of rain to flush all the nutrients out of a pot...
