Trouble (good thing!) is with Law Enforcement is that they do very little looking, they tend to just wait for things to fall into their laps.

I advise the Netcraft Toolbar - I have had this installed for about a year now & is great for checking the whois, domain owner, how long the site has been registered, webmasters email etc etc. etc. It will also warn if the site is a phising or fraud site... kinda off the subject a little I know, but strongly recommend installing as it has blocked & warned me of many dodgy sites that I have come accross such as spoof seed sites & the like. Just google 'netcraft toolbar' I know the word 'toolbar' is a bit off-putting to some people but this will be the best toolbar you ever install & probably the only one you wont uninstall after a day or two!

I think I would be a little afraid to post my grow online too though.
I believe in that whole "they can find your IP address and bust you."
I've never seen it happen but people do find your computer to put viruses on them with your IP so why wouldnt police be able to find you through it too?
Its just all too risky.
But if you dont give a fuck and you post your grows on here and share with us then more power to you :)

Well I have my myspace on here, but trust me no one will catch the invisible tatiana!! And I give most of my info, but I dont grow i just sell, so they can't prove nothing, i could say someone was pretending to be me!! lol. I dunno im kinda blazeed!!

come on. you peolpe really believe they would spend the time and money to track me down and bust me for my legal crop. even if the feds came, how much am i really worth to them. i'm nobody.

what I'm very curious about is the policy of this web site with respect to IP addresses. do they make sure they do not store the IP address of anyone who posts here? if that info was stored in their databases, then that leaves them to getting subpoenaed to turn that data over.

It is impossible to follow every law all of the time, no matter how hard you try you'll always end up making a mistake somewhere.

Paranoia about getting caught comes with the job, and it's helpful if you use it properly, actually harmful if you don't. Eat regularly, and healthily. Take moderate exercise, stay hygienic. The keys to a life free from 'bad' paranoia.

Rollitup says he's not storing the IPs. I don't know him, but at least he says he's blocking the IPs.

When in doubt...torrify via Torrify.

In Australia any digital photographs cant be used as evidence in court due to the fact that it is so easy to photoshop them.
