Too Late?

I live in the midwest KC and STL. It's now the 1st of August. If I started a couple of plants in an outdoor grow, would they yield anything. Do I have to wait until next year?

as long as the cold doesn't kill them then they'll produce

You'll have to bring them inside at night, I dont think its gonna work out very well for you if your just starting now but if you want to try you could. Only thing is its probally gonna be mid november-early dec by the time they are finished.

i have kind of a tag-along question -- if a 70/30 sativa/indica hybrid (blue mystic) is about a foot tall now, how tall do you think it will get by harvest? outdoors obviously. never done an outdoor grow till now so i was just curious about how much longer a crop will vegetatively grow this season.

im not really that familar with sativas, so i dont really know with any certainty but i'd educated guess around 3-4 ft.
