I'm really bad with the lights.
I try to get them as close as possible, but obviously I still leave about 2 inches. It seems these plants grow in random spurts. Like yesterday during their light cycle they only came up a fraction. Than at night they seemed to have spurted about a whole inch (they were touching the lights this morning all though they were off).
So for some reason I'm expecting them to do more growing at night than the day. Postition the lights about 1 1/2" when I turned them on this morning. Come back from work and one of my plants had not just grown into the light, but was pushing the whole top 2 leaves into it. I move the light away and the entire leaves are brown and burned. I remember burning a tip before, which turned green the next day. But will those severely burned leaves come back? It doesn't look possible, but I'm curious because I hate when my babies look unhealthy like that. Should I water them maybe? Will that help push some water into the leaves?
