(CNN interview isn't up on the internet yet, although I have it DVR'ed all quotes are from the interview)

A Florida man, Pastor Terry Jones, is organizing a national "Burn a Koran Day" on 9/11 this year. In the CNN "Rick's List" interview, Pastor Terry Jones talked of ALL of Islam, you know... all 1.5 BILLION of them (second largest religion in the world)...

When asked, why - as a Christian man - would he burn the sacred book of another religion? He replied, "First of all it is not sacred to us, it is sacred to them."

"it is a deceptive religion, it is a violent religion - this has been proven many times"

And then...

"why would you do something as hateful as burn their most sacred book?" -Rick

Answer: "Because... We will end up like Europe. Like England and Germany." <--- honestly this sounded like ramblings to me, he didn't go anywhere with this lol..

"Because it okays honor killings" <--- In reference to the Koran as further justification that it's okay to burn the book.

....

did anyone see this? All I can say is WOW:shock:

that pastor's retarded. that will only help swell the anti-american sentiment in the middle east, and make america more unsafe.

he's probably one of those pastors who deceives ppl into believing he's almost a saint, then molests little boys in the church bathroom.

no REAL pastor, one who REALLY BELIEVES in baby jesus would ever do something like this.

he's an impostor and he's playing a very dangerous game....

Big surprise another dumb ass hater using religion for his own misguided ends. He quotes a verse from the Bible that says Jesus was set to destroy works of the devil. It doesn’t have anything to do with Christians destroying works of the devil. It’s his right as an American to be a jack ass but I hope his congregation throws his ass out.

Seems like some sheer ignorrance. Surely hope he is ready for whatever consequences come his way. That is just insane. Muslims are not to blame for 9/11. Funny how he is a pastor. To not have the brains to see that Muslims and Terrorism are seperate entities is just retarded. I guess it does not take much brainwork to be a Christian Pastor nowadays :)

Haha terrorism, like all the people from the middle east are terrorists or something, what a fucking crock of steaming shit. We have killed a hundreds thousand innocents all for something 19 others did, and the majority of the 19 weren't even from the countries that we destroy. Most were from Saudi Arabia, our ally! The biggest scam ever perpetrated, and the US population is ok with it because we have only lost 3500 of ours compared to the 106,000 of them, acceptable losses compared to the last shit filled war in Vietnam right?

I'll tell you sometimes people I don't know what's worse
Natural disasters or these wolves in sheep clothes pastors
Now damn it I'm scared to send my children to church
And how can we seek salvation when our nations race relations
Got me feeling guilty of being white
But faith in human nature, our creator and our savior, I'm no saint
But I believe in what is right

I believe Muslims in this country pose little threat, due to their small population. Europe has a more significant number of Muslims and they're starting to feel more comfortable being vocal about their radical views. Just look at how they protest is the U.K. and the type of language they use. Once the U.S. Muslim population increases you will see enablers for this type of behavior. I DO NOT like muslims or the religion they follow just so were clear. And for our resident Muslim it's haram to smoke weed just so you know. If this pastor would be closer I would join in on the festivities.
