I bought a cheap, thin/sheer curtain and cut it up to cover my plants. The moths generally lay their eggs at the top portion of the plant. Not sure if I need to completely cover the entire plant or not. We'll see. Seems like a great option for outdoor auto grows that are in an area with moths/budworms.
Good idea. I guess you are taling about covering them at night right? I hope it gets rid of those buggies..
Nice looking plants by the way. Very dense buds, so it seems.
Oh, and the ladybugs only stuck around for a day and a half.
Time to tuck the girls into bed for the night.
Heh, I will have no problem killing these girls. I will probably harvest the Top 69 tomorrow.
I saw a thread where someone was cloning Iranian Autos, but their lifespan is longer so they're a bit more amenable to cloning.
Cheers.
The Top 69 was chopped today. I found a budworm in the top of it. Minimal damage, I've got a shot of the piece that was ruined. I'm not sure if it's even possible to completely eliminate these bastards if you grow outdoors in Southern California.
I'm happy with my yield, this is my best so far. No idea what kind of smoke it is since nobody has ever reported on it, but I'll let you know soon.
This time I'm going to save the small leaves that are covered in trichs. Perhaps save them for a few grows and make butter, oil or whatever.
Thanks everyone! Top 69 was chopped at day 78. Now I've got that nice familiar drying smell in my closet. I'm going to take my time with the curing process on this one. Once complete I'll let you know how it smokes. Cheers.
Do you have you weck bottles ready??
