if i planted a lowryder #2 seed in a 5 gallon bucket and put it outside and cared for it would it still produce bud even tho it will be starting this late in the season? i figured it would because it grows from seed to bud in only 8 weeks

Last year I planted lowryder in Sept and they made very well. I have seeds this year from a lowryder crossed with one of my males from last year and I have just started 4 seeds this week. The best thing I can tell you is that being in a five gallon container you can very easily move it inside in a makeshift greenroom to finish if you have any problems.

5 gallon bucket is way overkill for an auto, also ive only smoked one auto. dieselrider...it looked and smelled amazing, but tastes like shit with a weak ass short lasting high

Wow I just deleted a good reply. My yield for the lowryder was about 25 grams per plant dried. Personally, I use a 3 gallon container to grow the girls in. I find that 5 gallons with good rich compost is just overkill since mine plants are finished in about 11 weeks (I never have gotten them to finish in the 8 weeks listed). The smoke was OK but not very potent, tasted like a green plant never dried or cured, that is the reason I crossed with a sativa dominate hybrid. I just put 2 plants in their containers this morning so I will be starting a grow journal today to show the results. What I have found from growing the first 3 generations is that the soil is truly the key to the auto. I use pure compost for my soil with lots of worms in the soil and continue to top dress the soil each week with a few coffee grounds, egg shells and tomate scraps, it may not look the best laying of top but the worms love it and they are healthy when I return the used soil to my compost pile. Hope this helps and happy growing.

So, its not just me. I can't seem to get my auto's to smell like pot! And when I tried to cure them in a jar, you know like your suppose to, they ended up smelling like, like I don't know. The potency wasn't that bad, much like a Sativa high. Any way way I have seventeen of the Jock Horror from Nirvana, started with twenty, in three gallon pots, outside. My Short rider's from Nirvana were a straight up bust, pure crap, not a single plant was like one another. Good Luck with yours.:peace:

I am about to plant some White Widow and Blackberry from Nirvana in a week or so outdoors, and I'm predicting an oz per plant.
are those plants autoflower? is it necessary for me to get an autoflowering seed or not? but i was thinkin bout getting some master kush or jock horror instead not autoflowering. even this late in the season will she grow into a plant and produce an ounce?

Hey did you know that Nirvana Seeds has a Auto Jock Horror. I am growing them right now my last batch of autos, and they seem to be doing the best. It seems like the less I fuss about my plants the better they do.:peace:
