I was going to move my plants out of the aerogarden into a 65liter bin so they can grow bigger. At what age can I move them out before the roots are all tangled? Is it stressful on the plant, Im not going to soil just another hydro but bigger bin more lights.

Its not stressful just dont let too much light get to the roots. You can do it whenever as long as the roots come out.

thanks for the reply. so If I remove the plastic casing with sponge inside from the aerogarden and just plop the plant with the plastic casing into my 4 inch net pot will that work?

Yes, but why keep the plastic case. How about 1 inch of hydrotron rocks in the bottom place sponge in center and fill in the sides.

I'd put a cover over those net pots to keep the light out. They have them at my hydro store and it help to keep the algae down and kep the light from the roots.
