400w HPS system in my room heat killing me

this is my first grow going to post pics till i harvest its 4 supper skunk plants in one big pot growing under a hps light everything in this room were made from stuff i found in my house just bought the hps light struggling with heat problems Avg of 30*c thinking of new ideas to get the heat down Anny advice will be appreciated i cant cut holes in my cardboard my mom will kill me so i were thinking of starting to use dry ice in the grow room but were scared that its going to get to cold then hope this link becomes popular

Do you not have air flowing in and out of your growbox? It's really important to have good airflow. You need an in and out for fresh air. Those small fans are not enough.
My temps in my lower room now is 35 during the day. There is a bit of stress but nothing to worry about.

You need ventilation. Top priority right now.

yup air exchange will make all the diff.a 400w is not that hard to keep cool

I had temps of 95 degrees in my cab. I put 2 fans 14 bucks each at walmart and 3 frozen water bottles in there and now im sitting around mid 80s. Cheap but it works

i got a circulation going i got a extractor fan with a long silver air-duct for the air to pass threw so what i did was im putting this pipe in a bucket filled with dry ice and when the warm air gets out the other side its really cold so ATM my light is just above my plants and my room is running at 25*c really good temp i think i need to replace the dry ice once daily and its costing me about R40 to replace it every time this is not so costly if u have cash to blow to get the really nice yield i think these baby's are going to shine now they are loving the soil i got them in and every third time i water them with nutrients ill post more pics later hope i get lots of views on this post its my first one hope u loving it guys and gals

Bro your gonna be fucked if you don't seperate them plants before they're roots get all entangeled and you have 1 big healthy plant, and the rest are puny worthless nothings.....

Nope..... 1 pot for 1 plant..... More than that, and your yield WILL suffer..... Unless your gonna be using like 25 gal pots...

so i have to kill 3 of my baby's that's not cool at all i cant evin c witch ones are male and witch female cant i put the 4 of them in different pot still in the same grow room hope i can coz i want allot of harvest once

this is the new cooling i got and i transeplanted two of them one and i left two in one huge bucket.

unless I'm missing it you still don't have a real fan. If swamp coolers are popular were you are at then the squirrel cage is a very cheap vent if not then look for a cheap blower fan. Stanley makes one for $30 that puts out a good cfm.

Yeah especially you should get a air cooled reflector. It will be the best 100 dollars you spent, and while your at it pick up an ecoplus 4 inch fan with some ducting and you will for certain be stress free from lighting/ heating

i had similar problems with my 400W. had to break down and buy a portable air conditioner. Took a big hit but it's one of the best investments i ever made for my girls

Yea that's totally fine. You can 100 plants in 1 grow room. Just 1 plant per pot. That's all. And it looks like you've got that covered now. Lookin good bro!

And if I was you, I'd veg for at least another 2 weeks. It WILL quadrouple (sp?) your yield. I promise you that!.. Just some food for thought. an extra 2 weeks of waiting, but you'll end up with 4x as much smoke in the end..... Definitely worth the 2 week wait IMHO.

ok it will switch back to 15/9 thank u for all the info hookd on chronics ill let it grow for two more weeks then i just dont want my plants to become to big yet thats the problem but ok then lets c what happens if i wait a bit more i want to smoke it now hehe cant wait anny more.

whel here is a few pics second day in 12/12 liting and i can start to smell them alreaddy i know that here is two plants in one big pot but i have a feeling one is male and one is female the one on the left in the big green pot has long thin leaves and the one on the wright big fat fluffy ones and i think the one with the fluffy leaves i think is still to small to bud but what the hell i got these seeds for free from my dealer its the stuff i have been smoking for kwite some time so lets c what happens here is a few more pics updating the peeps watching.the two other plants int the other pots i transplanted dont look that good
