Black Discoloration - Outdoor

Hello! Being an absolute newb here, I hate to ask a question right off the bat but here I go anyway... I've got a couple plants outdoors that have a very nasty black discoloration. It's been on one of them since shortly after transplant to outside 2 months ago and 2 others have just recently shown it. They are in veg, rather large (7' or so) and growing quite well dispite these odd areas. I was thinking low Phosphorus and have made attempts to lower the soil PH (which is right around 7). It does not seem to rub off.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there.

Hum, ya don't see this very much on here.
Ya, I agree with you looks like a phosphorus deficiency. The PH could be 6.5 but 7.0 seems close enough.

Here ya go. something from the growers bible.

Mild and complete fertilizer.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply! I'll be trying some all purpose Miracle Grow. I have been using the old nutrient water from the hydro grow inside to fertilize outside.

Thanks again,

First thing you should do is water them real good with plain water to help wash off the hydro nutes, then if you must use MG use a small amount, like 1/4 of whats recomended. Good luck.
