could be some type of nute burn, are they getting brittle at the ends, like dryin right out. Whats your nute strength? Might be worth flushing them with 1/2 strength to see if it stop or keeps progressing.

Anyone else shed some light?

IMHO I think it's something to do with a possible cal/mag def...
What I'd do: Flush the plant (puor 2x the amount of soil you have in the pot, through the soil) and then after that, I'd water with just regular water and add like 2 tsp of epsom salt (get it at wallgreens or something, way cheap!) to the last gallon of water that your about to give her. I think you should be fine after that.

Or, if you've got money to spend, just flush then go get some cal/mag from your local hydro store and read the bottle. I bet that'll clear things up.

ah thanks, so just flush once? and then flush again with the epsom salt
so if i have a 3 gallon pot, then i should flush with 6 gallons? and on the last gallon add the salt?

IMHO i think it's nute burn. i have the same sort of thing going on with my current gro. it's confusing because some plants are fine and some are not. it's baffling. i wonder if my soil was too hot to begin with.

it might be, i have no idea, cause some plants respond different to nutes than others, so i have no idea.
i think it's probably a mag def. because nute burnt leaves turns yellow i'm pretty sure.

the problem with a supposed nute deficiency is that we'll try to compensate for it with nutes, and if it's actually not a deficiency we'll be compounding the problem.

personally i'm scared of flushing. i had a gro and flushed alot and i got a REAL nute deficiency and my stems turned red and my plants got all yellow. it was fast and freaky. keep in mind that when you flush you are not only getting rid of the bad stuff but you are also flushing good stuff out too.

i'm not saying hooked is wrong at all. maybe you do need to flush, just be carefull.... and don't get carried away.

do you think flushing like hookedonchronic said would work?

I would actually flush with the 6 gallons (even more if you want to, it won't hurt) and then on the 7th gallon use 1/4 strength nutes (because now there will be almost zero nutes in the soil) and the tsp of epsom salt and a drop or 2 of Superthrive <<<<< click the link. And you should be golden dog!

Unless you do what I said, then you won't hurt your girls at all... This is the reason we FLUSH... It prevents this from happening...

Here man. I'm attaching a pic of a plant, and leaves from that plant. They kinda look like yours but yours are just at an earlier stage. I did EXACTLY what I told you to do with the flush/1/4nute/Epsom salt/Superthrive and it fixed the problem right away. So you look at the pix and decide if this is what you want to do. Totally up to you, they're your plants not mine. I'm just tryin to help.

This is why after you flush. You do the 1/4-1/2 nute, tsp of epsom salt, and drop or 2 of superthrive. It'll prevent the deficiency because your getting rid of all the good and bad OLD nutes in the soil. And ADDING NEW nutes, just not as much... Does this make sense? The reason yourplant got red stems and went yellow is because there were zero nutes left in the soil. Once you take them ALL out, you have to put some back in...

yeah it's mag def.

just found this site, it's a good read.
Thought so... :)

Good luck bro, and let us know if you get everything cleared up. The epsom salt is GREAT for cal/mag def's BTW
